  1. If you're not, please don't take offense to this, but are you an internet troll? You always seem to post just random things like this (that you're eating things that most people can't/don't eat) and then you get really defensive when people try to explain to you why it's not a good idea to do these things. In this post, you say that you can have 225-325g of carbs per day. Then in a different post, you said that you only eat 500 calories a day. Which is it? There is no way that a reputable dietitian would recommend that you eat that many carbs per day either; that's crazy. It seems like you just comment things on here to get a rise out of people. I don't get it.
  2. Oh, yeah. I'm over 5 months out, and I still get nauseous every once in a while. It was really bad this morning. Thankfully, it only lasts for about a minute or so then it goes away, but that minute is no fun.
  3. I take the following: 1 ProCare Health Bariatric Multivitamin per day 1 2,500mcg B12 per day 1 10,000mcg Biotin per day 1 500mg Bariatric Advantage Chewable Calcium Citrate per day 1 250mg Bariatric Advantage Chewalbe Calcium Citrate per day 3 65mg Iron pills per day (taken at different times) 3 250mg Vitamin C per day (I take one with each iron pill) 1 50,000iu Vitamin D per week
  4. I take 1 Prilosec per day, which is what I took pre-op too. I have about the same level of acid reflux now as I had pre-op.
  5. I had to look back in my MyPlate app. lol! I was consuming around 600 calories at week 5.
  6. Don't feel bad! You know what you've got to do to make positive changes, now you just have to apply those changes. I do understand though. Anytime I have a lower than usual loss, I get a little disappointed, but then I just get happy that the scale is going down and not up like it used to!
  7. You definitely have the right attitude. I'm glad that you are doing something before the weight gain gets out of hand, which is what I wish that I would have done! Congrats on that! You've got this!
  8. Wow! I've lost an average adult woman and a rack of baby back ribs!
  9. For 1 week out, I would say that's pretty normal. I'm 5 months out, and I get around 1,100 a day.
  10. It sounds like you're focusing on the scale way too much. You just had surgery. How often are you weighing? You may need to go down to just weighing once a week so that you're not so focused on the number on the scale.
  11. If it does feel too heavy at first, you can water it down some. That's what I did for the first few days.
  12. It's obviously not too late, but you do need to get control over this. Start slow. You don't have to change every single thing over night. Start by tracking your food, good or bad. Then start by adding in your vitamins. Then make another change when you're ready. Do it in the order you want. You know that you have to get a hold of this, or you wouldn't have posted here. We can't do it for you. It's up to you to make the changes and do what needs to be done. You can do it!
  13. I waited about 3 months or so, and I don't eat them very often at all. I can't do spicy though
  14. Wow! You look amazing! What an inspiration!
  15. I'm glad that you're now able to drink your protein and your water. The first month is the absolute worst! After that, it gets so much better!
  16. I have to take a multi, 2 calcium, 3 iron, 3 half-vitamin Cs, and biotin every day. I always take my multi, calcium, and biotin. I'm not always perfect at taking all 3 iron and C. I try to everyday, but some days I just get 2 in. I had to get a weekly pill organizer and fill that up once a week, so that I know that I still need to take. It's something that you'll eventually get used to. I'd say that i was the most overwhelmed by how many pills I have to take a day, but now I'm pretty used to it.
  17. Once you start eating real food again, you won't be as hungry! Hunger still does happen, but not like it used to.
  18. I don't really have any advice for you, but I'm sorry that you're going through this. I love theme parks, but I haven't been to one in a long time due to my size. I'll be going to one next summer for sure!
  19. I'll always let someone pray for me who is willing too! Sorry that you have been criticized because of your faith. Thank you for this post.
  20. @AstroCat - the short hair looks great on you!
  21. I needed like a week and a day.
  22. Awesome! I can't wait to be overweight!
  23. Girl, I feel you! I was 463 when I started, so it took A LOT of weight loss for me to be able to actually notice a difference in my clothes. It took me losing almost 100 pounds before I had to get smaller pants. I've lost 142, and I'm still wearing the same shirts; some of them are pretty big though. It's crazy how our bodies work. Now that I'm smaller, compared to what I was, I know that I'll be able to see changes more quickly now. Congrats on your weight loss!
  24. I use the MyPlate app, and I think it's easier to just put in what I'm eating, then the app keeps track of the calories, carbs, protein, etc. I do find it very useful.
