So Over This!!

I really am over this! I am 1 week post op and feel .... UGH! I am a creature of habit so eating/drinking the same thing doesn’t bother me unless I start dreaming of all the food I want and can’t have. The clear protein SUCKS!!!!!! I’m just now able to really drink water. Needless to say I haven’t had enough protein and I’m dehydrated causing hot/cold flashes, not sleeping well, and fatigued would be an understatement. A prosciutto wrapped mozzarella would go a long way right now. I can now have the Premier chocolate protein drink so I drank 2 and have drank 2 bottles of water so I feel a little better. Band to sleeve is no joke!!!

I'm glad that you're now able to drink your protein and your water. The first month is the absolute worst! After that, it gets so much better!

2 weeks Thursday and I can swallow soooo much better. It was hard at first but it does get better. Give it a few more days and your stomach will adjust to drinking

At the suggestion of my doctor I started taking a Benadryl to help me sleep and my sister suggested a B12 shot. Those 2 things made all the difference! Now I’m starting to have reflux and get nauseated after I drink my shake. Always something I guess. Thanks for all of your support!!
