  1. This soon after surgery I would bet that it's hormonally driven. Hormones can go completely bonkers for a few months after surgery. As always, if it becomes worrisome, speak with your doctor or his team.
  2. No, I tend to eat mini meals all day long, but I have noticed that my thermostat goes up when I eat.
  3. I sure wish you lived down the street!
  4. I found it very helpful to contact others having surgery at the same time as me. We were really supportive and understanding of each other and could swap war stories ? This is the thread for the August patients, if you're interested.
  5. I have a desk job and went back to work after 10 days.
  6. And now you know! It's ok, really. This is all part of a learning experience. You were always going to be curious until you tried it out. You learned that you're going to have to depend on yourself and your choices to avoid too much sugar, that your wls isn't going to help much in that regard. This is a long-haul process. Don't beat yourself up over a bump in the road. Now you need to figure out what your triggers are and how to avoid or control them.
  7. I have always been a protein bar for breakfast person. The thought of any other thing that early makes me gag. I love the Pure Protein Deluxe Chocolate, very satisfying. Also, I like Built Bars. They're 110 cal, 15g of protein and amazing flavor choices. The texture is quite "marshmallowy" so it's odd at first. I like them out of the fridge which firms them up.
  8. Ha a tabbouleh craving. Made enough to feed an army. Put my hand in photo so you could get an idea how big the bowl is ?. Sadly my hubby actually picked all the parsley out of his serving. He thought he liked tabbouleh ? but, I guess not!
  9. If you want those circles at the beginning of the workout to have WAY more impact, don't point your hands out, point them up. (Straight arms, hands pointed 90 degrees up)
  10. Yes, the additional fats may have you pooping more. If you're not sensitive to sugars, you might add more fruits to your diet or starchy veggies. The fruits, in particular, are sliders and I know I can eat quite a bit. Maybe some banana or peaches?
  11. Make smart choices ?

    Errands today
  18. Lunch at TGI FRIDAYS. This was their $7 lunch deal with a LUNCH-sized cobb salad. It was huge. I felt no guilt whatsoever in eating all the goodies off the top and leaving the lettuce behind.

I LOVE the snakeskin patterned ones! But we can't see through your shirt!
