Hi Boo, I started out with broiled Salmon and then thinly sliced Pork Tenderloin- yuuuuumyyyy! I'm 6 weeks out and still have to be careful with Beef and almost PBed after Tuna out of the can - even with Majo on it. You'll do well- no worries.

You like filet mignon? You can make it the staple of your food if your pocketbook can support it! It's very good dense protein and does have no fat (Bacon wraped around it not counted!) and it is so soft you will have noooo problems chewing it to smithereens while you savor the taste! No worry mate!:clap2:

Thanks a lot for your compliment- they are large flowers- but for that I'm sad to say they only last for 1 day. But last year it carried over 400 blossoms and was in bloom for over 6 weeks. Have sofar only used sunshine and water- but I think this year I will have to give it a little help as it gets bigger and bigger. Would you like to have some seeds from last year?

Had my first fill on Wednesday. No lidocaine, PA had to search around for Port opening (but left the needle in and just poked around on the inside) Did not realy hurt but I got a huuuuge bruise on my tummy after that and that hursts more the the shot itself. :faint: AAAOOOWWWW Got 2cc in.

Hi, try to get some Benadryl lotion and put that on the welts but not the incisions. If you think you need to cover the incisions get some steril gauzepads at Walgreens or some other store (you can fold it in quarters) and you can keep it in place with paper tape. That is normally tolerated very well. Hope it helps.

Hallo TrishS; why don't you attach the picture you showed us in the e-mail to your surgeon- that way he can make himself a picture of what you try to discribe to him- sometimes a picture is worth more than a thousand words! Just MHO. Good luck.

HHHHMMM- are they going to pull food too? Food can kill you too if you take to much of it - don't they now that?! Most of us here are living proof - I would probably die by overeating if I didn't have my band- so what's a little splenda? Get real FDA and take out fast food joints. (Evil gggggggggggg)

Liquid in- nothing out? I'm so darn plugged up my eyes are turning .... what color? Tried Colace, Benefiber, Milk of Magnesia - no help - drink at least 65oz a day. Can only have cottage cheese, refried beans etc no real food - I'm not sure I should try more solids but I'm sooo tempted , any ideas anybody? PLEEAAASSSEEE?:confused:

Hi leenerbups, have you tried to just use a hot pack on your tummy while you lie down- it always seem to help me even with pain that I could not really categorize. Heat just seem to calm everything down and sometimes TUMS helped too.

Hi Dody; you could be suffering from "Plantar Fasciitis", an inflammation of one of the tendons on your foot. Before you go and buy some expensive insoles or orthotics, please find a good physical therapist and have them tape your foot. If it works you will know it immediately and if not then too. A good PT can even teach you how to tape yourself. It would be worth a trial.
