  1. I think if you tolerated it and it didn't hurt your stomach then it's ok. Not sure though. I'm only 6 days post op
  2. I'm also an emotional eater and actually just finished crying my eyes out because I couldn't eat what my family was eating! It's hard!! But you have to find something else to do. I also put myself to bed and took some meds! I'm hoping it will get easier and I think it will! Let me know if you need a friend! We can get thru this together!
  3. I had the band and just had revision surgery to the sleeve last Tuesday. The band never worked for me and I tried to utilize it as a tool to the best of my ability. My doctor said it just doesn't work for some people. I had it for 2 years and lost 30 pounds. It wasn't worth it!
  4. Thanks! I'm trying to stay positive!
  5. I had surgery Tuesday and have to be on clear liquids until next Tuesday. Then I can add cream soups and yogurt.
  6. If I have to go another day on low cal Gatorade and chicken broth I might DIE! Please tell me there is something else I can have! Tuesday is my day to start full liquids.
  7. I hope your fever goes down soon!
  8. monieanne are you able to get your fluids down? I'm dealing with head hunger now! It's awful.
  9. I'm home and had surgery yesterday and was discharged last night. It went well. Gas pains were pretty bad in hospital and I was very nauseated. They gave me meds and I felt better. Today I'm having trouble getting a liquids in. When will that get better?
  10. I had my surgery here yesterday! Very nice and clean. It was a pleasant experience!
  11. Today is more painful and I have gas pain. It's hard getting water down. That's all I have tried so far.
  12. It's 10:20 and I'm on my way home. Surgery was at 2:30 today. I was extremely nauseous when I woke up but after the meds kicked in I was fine. No pain yet but will probably have some tomorrow. So far so good!
  13. I'm excited and nervous! I'm going in tomorrow to have a band to sleeve revision. My surgery is at 3pm and I have to check in at 1pm. Send prayers or good vibes my way please!!
  14. How are you doing? I go in tomorrow for mine!
  15. Just wondering if they have an overnight area just in case? I'm being sleeved here tomorrow!
  16. I'm having band to sleeve revision surgery on Tuesday. It will be done in one surgery along with a hiatal hernia repair. I am on week two of liquids and feel ready for surgery. I am wondering if surgery is more painful when you have it all done at once? Any post surgery tips?
  17. Days 1 and 2 were brutal for me. Day 3 was better and today was a breeze. I have kicked the bad stuff out of my body so the cravings are gone. My life savor has been chugging water. I never drank water before and now I crave it. It really helps with the hunger! My surgery is Aug 11 so I'm only on day 4.
  18. I'm on day 1 and I agree that it does suck! I have to be on mine for 2 weeks and my surgery is August 11. Today I really enjoyed a vanilla premier protein drink blended with one banana and 10 almonds. I threw it in my ninja and it was really good! Other then that I starved!
  19. I weigh 325 and I am having the revision on Aug 11. I did not have to lose any weight before surgery. I just stated my pre-op diet today and will be on liquids for 2 weeks prior to surgery. I will lose weight being on this diet, but it wasn't a requirement.
  20. I'm going thru the Nicholson Clinic and am also self pay and using insurance for hernia. I owe $2500 to dr and $4000 to hospital. I'm surprised you weren't given prices before you received your surgery date. That's very odd
  21. I just added you both
  22. My doctor will give me the nasal spray B-12
  23. I can't wait for that day!
