  1. I was able to but didn't let myself. I am now a month out and try to stay at 4 oz at each meal but it's hard!! This diet is extremely stressful and it's hard to get advice because everyone is experiencing different things! Good luck!
  2. The head hunger!! The cravings are starting for me and I will be one month out tomorrow. I also weigh myself every morning and it's so FUN to see the changes. I thought I would have lost more weight by now but my dr says I'm right on track and just need to up my Protein. It's hard! Good luck to you!!
  3. Tomorrow will be 1 month out for me and I feel like I'm always starving! I am eating every 3 hours and only eating about 4 oz but I know I could eat more. Here is what a typical day looks like: B: Premier Protein shake or Turkey Sausage (3 links) S: String cheese or Babybel Cheese L: 4 oz of protein and veggies S: Greek yogurt or cottage cheese D: 4 oz of protein and veggie I feel like I'm eating too much and the scale hasn't moved in over a week!! Suggestions please! I am getting so discouraged!

  5. Wow! I had little bruising on one incision but no where near this! Have you called your doctor?
  6. I was told no carbonated drinks and no caffeine again. It's crazy how everyone's doctor is different!

  11. I was also self pay. You should check out the Nicholson Clinic. I went with Dr. Carlton. I guess I should have mentioned I also live in the Dallas area! : )
  12. I had my sleeve on 8/11. I'm still on purée stage and so ready to start soft foods!!
  13. I had my revision from band to sleeve in Aug 11.
  14. I'm on stage 2 now and have added in cream soups. I am so ready to start soft foods!! I don't think I will ever eat soup again...
  15. I'm experiencing the same thing. I hear it gets easier! I have one more week of liquids then I start soft foods.

  17. Surgery went well! I'm a week out tomorrow and start phase 2 of my diet tomorrow too!
  18. I had my surgery a week ago tomorrow and I start my phase 2. What is your typical day look like as far as how much you drink, eat(soups) etc. I'm wanting to make sure I don't over due it and I stay on track. I have been on clear liquids and can add cream soups in now. How many ounces are you guys able to eat at a time and how many times a day? Any advice would be great!
  19. I started soups today and it was better! I feel like I'm having too much. What do you guys think? Breakfast 9:30: Carnation Breakfast Drink with Skim Milk 11:30: 4 oz soup 2pm: 4 oz Greek yogurt 5pm: 4 oz soup 7pm: 4 oz soup Water with crystal light throughout the day!
  20. I'm only 6 days post op so not an expert but I think the back pain feeling is fullness. Not sure though.
