  1. When did you start these meds? November?
  2. Which books are we reading in 2025?
  3. Homemade nutella and whipped cream Blintz for my BF ?
  4. Pretty little matcha latte from my favorite bakery/cafe
  5. I chose sleeve over bypass because at the time it was considered a safer profile surgery with the same effectiveness. I had other medical conditions I needed to focus on and could not risk dealing with complications. It still makes sense to that past nervous version of me. However this version of me (which needed to be revised from sleeve to bypass from complications from sleeve ?) would choose differently. All things considered, All things being equal and if I had to choose again I would pick bypass over sleeve (especially if I was a self pay patient or my insurance excluded revisions).
  6. The maintenance doses of Semaglutide for chronic weight management are 1.7mg and 2.4 mg. If you haven’t reached those doses yet, then that’s the goal before you can determine if it’s not working as expected (which for some people it may not work). What is your current dose? https://www.wegovy.com/taking-wegovy/dosing-schedule.html?showisi=true&&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=wegovy&utm_campaign=1_All_Shared_BR_Wegovy_Core&mkwid=s-dm_pcrid_645689011667_pkw_wegovy_pmt_p_slid__product_&pgrid=148965952281&ptaid=kwd-1296426939242&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAABWNcsk_Vrk4rb9ObcxDKFUu6OZHy&gclid=Cj0KCQiA4L67BhDUARIsADWrl7HM5Z15-B65VZSJkFvcsdpvjEpsfTBEfdP0BJGzjFepWdgBossbMHgaAnCxEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
  7. I did not mainly because I wasn’t really hungry. My focus was on hydration and protein intake. I mainly did full liquids/thicker liquids, then I progressed to soft foods at the appropriate time. What is considered puréed on your instructions? It may have been considered soft foods on mine.
  8. Mostly protein shakes, yogurt and soups.

This color looks GREAT on you!
  11. Semaglutide (and other various GLP-1 agonists) effectiveness can be dose dependent. 4 weeks is likely not long enough to see changes especially if you are still at the starting dose. Here’s a link with some decent easy to understand info: https://www.richlandmd.com/cosmetic/semaglutide-dose-for-weight-loss/ Also these meds are used in conjunction with lifestyle modifications. According to a meta analysis reviewing multiple trials “We observed that aside from the administration of semaglutide, reduced calorie diet and increased physical activity were also part of the intervention. Hence, semaglutide alone probably will not be able to achieve an 11.85% weight loss” https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9758543/ Take a look at your early post op diet plan and give that a try again. If you didn’t have one, I can share that mine was protein forward (80g minimum) with minimal carbs (under 50 g and mostly complex) and low fat (20g) and almost no calories from drinks unless they are protein shakes. *edited to add: These meds can cause constipation so any weight gain could be due to that You really should consider checking in with the prescribing/administering physician to ask about your progress. Best of luck!

  16. Congratulations and speedy recovery ❤️‍?
  17. I think I used the wrong sweetener and it was a bit too dry which is hilarious because keto recipes usually love butter and this one doesn’t require any.
  18. It was dry! ? I will try again sometime this winter with a citrus juice because I think that’s the way the bakery makes them.

I have no clue what material it’s made out of because I removed the tag when altering it a year ago. I’m going to assume it’s polyester/poly urethane but it is very soft and doesn’t feel like plastic at all.
