  1. It's been great. The first week was hard but I managed to get through it.
  2. I went through the denial and self reassuring for years. I even backed out of the procedure rny when my insurance would have covered it. Three years later, I was nearing prediabetes, high cholesterol & im only 25. I lost 40 pds on my own two years ago and gained it plus more back. I decided enough was enough, and opted for the vsg & paid for the procedure. I'm no vet but this procedure is life changing. You will learn to adjust to your new norm. As time goes on the restrictions lesson and you will eat a decent amount of food, but if you want to eat large portions you need to reconsider. Even if you only eat four small meals a day, why does that matter? You will not be hungry
  3. Butt pain is from losing weight or losing muscle mass. Are you getting your vitamins in? I've always been cold.
  4. I was sleeved 3/13 & feel same! I do best with protein drinks
  5. Well I dumped it after the second mouthful. Got to get more premier protein.
  6. Hi, all. I am currently 5 weeks post op as of today. I was curious about others consumption this early out. I ordered a cup of cheddar soup from Panera and could only have two spoonfuls and I felt as though I would get the chest and stomach cramps if I had one more bite.

  10. I was outpatient and had mines done a few hours after surgery, I was so disgusted by the taste, oh my goodness, purely horrid.

  13. It will be fine rapid weight loss has some potential consequences such as hair loss. I haven't experienced this yet.
  14. I was cleared to have intercourse when I felt I was fine. My drive went up after dropping 26 pds in a month. Also my husband is 6ft 208 pds so he's on the smaller side, things are easier for us weight wise
  15. Sorry you are going through this. I was sleeved march 13th and have not had this issue. I do struggle with getting more than 50oz of liquid.
