  1. I was able to get in one egg, one premier shake, and one drumstick yesterday. I struggled with that!
  2. Two women at my job know. Nobody has suspected a thing and it's a month out for me on Monday!
  3. I was on liquid diet day before surgery and 14 days thereafter. I have been on puréed/soft foods for two weeks and Monday I can advance to normal foods if my stomach can handle it, my guess is I'll stay on softs an extra week
  4. When people say "what are you doing!" Your lookin good. Also went back to size 7 in shoes
  5. I guess I hit the stall also! I was 235 before surgery and lost 19 pds in two weeks! I'm now down to 210.5 but I'm being patient and focusing on strength training and cardio. I personally want a slow and steady weight loss but I'm happy either way. This is part of the process. My teacher told me you may not see the scale move for a month sometimes but you are losing inches!
  6. Well I can tell you that after a week I felt like myself and at three weeks and a day out I have NO pain and just got home from the gym. Biggest adjustment is that you won't eat like you did before, but that's the point lol
  7. It will be worth it. ! Best choice I ever made.
  8. I use premier protein, the whey made me so disguisted, I mean even the smell. I couldn't stand it!
  9. That's good progress! I'm down from 235 to 210
  10. My husband told me he doesn't want me to lose my butt also but I could careless what he wants. I was 235 pds and couldn't go up a flight of stairs without losing my breath. I'm on this journey of self improvement and discovery & he has told me I look good, not sure what he will say as I continue to shrink but he is also losing weight so I don't see any issues
  11. I will try prune when I'm as far out as you! I took an enema and everything came right out!
  12. It is so worth it can't wait to follow your journey! August will be here before you know it!
  13. So today marks three weeks post op for me! Whoohooo!!!! One thing that I can agree with from vet sleevers is that it does get easier. The incision pain is prettt nonexistent just a bit sore now. I haven't weighed myself for few days but my stats are Pre-op last weigh in 235 and right now I'm almost 210 pds. Ive started to incorporate weights and walking and will be back in the gym this week. I can drink more Water at once now and I don't have any complaints. The only issue I'm having is with constipation. I took a stool softener and it took until the next day to work so I purchased sopositories (enema) and will try that tonight. This is literally the best thing that has happened to me besides the birth of my child!
  14. Very normal I have lost 21 pds and will be three weeks post op tommorow. I'm going to start going back to gym tommorow as I'm now pain free! Stalls are part of this journey we also went through a traumatic calorie reduction in the beginning so our body's had to adjust. We will all lose at different rates as well.
  15. It's so amazing how different each Dr is. I was on liquid for 14 days and soft food 14 days and in two weeks I will be cleared for slowly reintroducing normal food
  16. I havent lost any more since few days but I know I'm not getting more than 500-600 cals, that's hard but try exercising also
  17. That's awesome my doc cleared for exercise this Tuesday at my two week appt
  18. You are so gorgeous! Congrats to you! I was also self pay and I thought where will I get the 13k from? I was so determined to change my life that nothing could have stopped me. I failed every diet, lost 40 gained 50, truly yoyoed for years! I'm only 25 but I felt the comordities creeping in and had to act fast!
  19. Awww that is so cute! Yes my husband told me last night, "ooo I can tell your getting skinny, it's all in your face" I was aww thx! Hahaha the littlest things make your heart smile
  20. This is how I feel! Always teetered between 194-200. I'll cry when I see 189, congrats!
  21. So I was sleeved on 3/13. Today is 16 days post op. I have lost around 20 pounds so far. I have been able to increase my Protein intake as well as my Water and I am so happy about that! No complications so far. So glad I got sleeved. My bmi was 46.1 due to me being so petite. At "4'11" my highest weight was 235! I am currently 211 pds and I am already seeing the difference. I have had NO complications thus far. I went through the phase of regret for a few days but as days went on it got better. I feel like the new normal "me". I plan on using this tool to create a more active life for myself. I feel lighter now and more energized than ever! My doc gave me the green light to start going to the gym so I plan on doing that monday which will be (3) weeks post op for me . I will continue to share my progress with my fellow sleevers. Thanks to all who have HELPED me so far.
  22. Regret is such a common feeling after wls. I literally cried the first few days because I wanted to go back in time and reverse it. I'm now 16 days post op and I am so happy I did this. I feel like my old self now and the weight is falling off. the gas pain and pain you are feeling will be gone before you know it! Walk around as much as you can and get plenty of rest. congrats to you for taking back control of your life.
