  1. Hi I was sleeved on 3/13 also! My dr has me on liquid diet until two weeks out. I haven't been consuming the recommended protein but I try! I also try to get at least a 20g yogurt in but it usually takes me two days for that and I was on whey protein but just switched to premier. Last weigh in at my Preop was 237 (with heels and clothes on) this morning i was 217. I know I've lost abt two pds a day since 3/13
  2. Everything was fine but I threw up tonight and so now I don't feel so well. I think I mixed to many things together, protein drink, pop sickle, pills, unsweet tea. Never again lol
  3. So Tommorow is one week post op and I feel like I'm doing something wrong. I can barely get in 20g of Protein a day, and am never hungry. Today I went out on a limb to try and ensure I'm following rules. I had a sugar free pop sickle and then I began sipping on my protein premier shake (strawberries n cream), I also had unsweet tea with three Splenda, and sips of Water. I got nauseated and then puked up some nasty smelling stuff that was dark n color. I had also swallowed two pills one for acid reflux and an Iron pill within secs of each other. Did I do something wrong?
  4. I am now 6 days post op, tommorow makes 1 week. ? I had a c-section & never felt this much pain, so I do regret it when I'm wanting to down a bottle of water or when the incision pulling pain happens BUT I do not regret it! I know that in few months, I'll say it was best decision I have ever made. The good thing is pain is temporary and soon I'll be back to the old me.
  5. I have that pain whee main incision is on right side...but mines has been there since my procedure which was on 3/13/17. Try to take it as easy as possible & follow up with ur Doc
  6. I notice I feel that pain if I swallow to much at on e
  7. I'm five days post op and will be able to eat puréed/soft foods at two week mark. Sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, Redford beans, mild cheese, and hopefully slim fast meal replacements will b okay. I currently have the whey protein and it makes me legit almost vomit, literally living off of abt 20g of protein a day from yogurt. I have no apetite and have to remind myself to sip on the nasty rote in rink or have a spoonful of yogurt or a few sips of broth.
  8. I'm vee and I was sleeved on 3/13. I've dropped at least 10 pds since my procedure and am on liquids for two weeks. I've been having a hard time with the protein drinks and most days I have 20grams of protein barely. I'm never hungry so I try and remind myself to sip and move! Can't wait to move on to puréed! In week
  9. Congrats to you I'm 5 days post op everything went well, having pain where main incision was placed. I do know of certain counseling support groups but that's about it.
  10. I'm an hr away from norfolk, I had my procedure down there
  11. I feel hopeful that's it will subside, my pain is where I'm guessing the main incision was placed , definite tugging/pulling feeling when I get up and even when I sit in an upright position. I can't wait to be able to feel normal again!
  12. MY final straw was seeeing a picture of myself and I was so disgusted at how big I was! My daughter who is only 5 always asked "mommy can you be like adens mom, she's healthy and runs".
  13. I'm in VA! Today is five days post op and I'm down 8-10 pds . So ready to be over liquid phase, I hate the protein shakes
  14. Oh that is so disappointing! Hang in there though
  15. Where r u located? It's definitely huge adjustment but luckily my mom came up and has been staying with me to help with my house lol, I only have strength to walk around few times a hr and lay back down
  16. Not quit like myself but no real pain either, just trapped gas & absolutely no appetite, can't even get half a protein shake down, I've been nipping on crushed ice and drinking sips of water and making sure i walk around.
  17. Just sleeved yesterday, Richmond va
