Hi - I live in Herndon/Reston area in NOVA. I'm getting sleeved in June and also looking for local support groups.

Congrats to you :) I'm 5 days post op :) everything went well, having pain where main incision was placed. I do know of certain counseling support groups but that's about it.

I'm 9 days post op. Still having some pain on the left side. My body hates all the protein shakes, jello, and g2. Everything tastes too sweet and fake right now. I was an organic whole seasonal eater prior to surgery so I'm struggling right now.

Hang in there! It will get better :) I'm one month out monday & the in idiom pain is practically gone now.

I feel like I'm going bonkers counting down the days. I just want to be on the other side.

I know! I felt same way. I'm so sho led at how norm I feel so soon!

Have you lost appetite/weight this month? (If you don't mind me asking?) I have this irrational fear that this surgery will help everyone on Earth except me!

Yes I was 235 at last weigh in before surgery, I'm now 209! :) there will be stalls and I haven't lost in a few days but trust in the process :)

That's awesome! I'm glad to hear you are recovering fast!

Yes it's amazing . I remember being two days post op and barely able to sip & now I can drink more and it's the little things. I've also been going to the gym as I hit the dreaded three week stall lol
