  1. the band is here to help tapshoes...but sometimes I wish it would help more :cursing: I have lost six lbs this month though. I don't think I'm gonna make it to my 10 lbs this month, but six is a good start right? By the way. I love you guys.
  2. Take care of yourself SLG and remember we are here to help.
  3. Carrots don't have a bad smell, they just taste weird. I looooove chocolate. You have no idea. A deep dark fancy chocolate and a glass of rosa regale and I will be so so happy.
  4. Welcome back, Wantit. Nice to have you. Jaime. I totally understand your stress eating, I hope that your heart heals, but intil it does I could sympathize with how hard it is to live the lapband life. It takes motivation and a positive attitude and noone could blame you for being short on those right now. Don't be hard on yourself.
  5. *Does the Victory Dance*
  6. *looks over your day and nods head* That looks very good MissDiva. Keep it up.
  7. I couldn't either, but I could try harder to get my three times a week in.
  8. Tapshoes, there is no such thing as too much TMI for me
  9. One scrambled egg with green and red bell pepper, onion, a sprinkle of low fat cheddar cheese, a tad bit of butter, and a few cubes of ham It was awesome and had lots of protein. I chopped up the onion and bell pepper and put them in plastic bags so I can continue to make this breakfast when I have to go to work. It was yummy, and pretty healthy too.
  10. How has your life been lately?
  11. LilMiss. That sounds good. I started keeping a food journal myslef last week, and it really helps to make you pay attention to what you are putting in your mouth. Exercise. Its a proud moment to write that stuff down and look at it later. I think that is an excellent idea. Get in the ZONE!
  12. lets not talk of tasty things. I start thinking about how I love nuts in my icecream.... Tapshoes...what is the absolutely worst food you have ever tasted? What about you, Shiny? What are some of the foods you just can't stomach? Mine- Worst food ever- Big John's Pork and Beans. I cannot stand these. If someone is eating them I gag. My dad once made me taste them and I threw up all over the place. Other foods I can't stand- believe it or not, I hate brownies. The smell of them make me sick. And Doritios, and carrots. I hate carrots.
  13. I agree. When we aren't losing we feel bad enough, we don't need anyone else harping one us. I was terrified to get my fill after that four months but they were very nice. You are doing super, by the way. And you look great crystal.
  14. Tapshoes, I was pretty much gone. I had decided that this just didn't work me for. That I couldn't do it and I was done. But then I kept getting your private messages. LilMiss- I have my eyes on the road and I am staring at my destination and I want to get there so bad I can taste it. I know that you will get out that hole. I did join weight watchers. I think I need a little structure to get me back on track. I will let you guys know how that goes. I'm pretty excited about. I'm a bandster that needs a little help right now.
  15. I'm glad I'm not the only one tapshoes. Eating is fun, and I love it...hence my problem. Drinking...well unless it has alcohol in it or it's just plain Water I'm just not that into it. Ps- I am not an alcoholic, that was a joke.
  16. That's a cool thing Tap
  17. I'm working on it. I did have an icecream slip, but it was my TOM so I don't feel so bad. This morning I had a nectarine and for lunch I packed some deli chicken, 2 slices of provolone and another nectarine. Hopefully for supper I can convince myself to have a ww meal. In fact I was thinking about joining weight watchers...what do you think?
  18. I mowed my entire yard and pulled a bunch of weeds. It was fun.
  19. Snatches Trophy! I am the winner!!!!!
  20. AFter careful study, Glou, I say that bitch deserved it. I would have thrown those under her chair too.
  21. Hey Melissa and Glou- Yeah I'm doing good. I'm gonna mow the yard today for some exercise when I get off work. I am feeling motivated. I am glad I came back here. I feel like a new bandster. I have not had a drink while I have eaten yet. Now I just have to work on not drinking after I eat. I can make it thirty minutes, but I haven't made it an hour. Step by step. Yesterday I grilled some chicken breast on the grill with directions from the internet and without drinking I could barely eat 1/2 of it. So I was like...oh...I DO have a band in there. By the by it was the best chicken EVER. I brined it then put it straight on the grill and put a little raspberry chipotle sauce on it. The trick with boneless skinless chicken breast on the grill is brining, then cooking it over high heat with the lid open for about 5 minutes and flipping it once. It leaves pretty grill marks, and nice carmalized crust and juicy tender chicken inside. I also bought these bags that you can just toss frozen veggies in and steam in the microwave so I had some of those too.
  22. Oh Honey, I feel ya. Oh I feel ya. I haven't lost any kind of weight in...5 months maybe? And My loss was slower than most in the beginning anyway, and I was on the larger side of the banders. But I have rededicated myself. I refuse and I mean REFUSE to drink while eating now. I just got a fill...but I still don't have a lot of restriction, but I've got some so I'm gonna work with what I got. I wish you all the luck and stregth in the world. Us slow losers need it. But we can do this, girl! We can! We Can! I know that my slow weight loss is half my stupid metabolisms fault, but the other half rest with me. I love icecream so much, and I drank while I ate, especially if I was eating something I liked. I was deliberately sabotaging myself. I don't know if it is fear of success or just my plain old food addictions coming through...Probably both. Keep your head up. Stay with me. Let's support each other. Oh and my band anniversary is tomorrow. Just FYI, also. I have only lost 50 lbs too, see they day I changed my signature I hadn't been on a scale in two months and I used one at a friends house and it said I had lost close to 20 lbs. I got super excited and changed my signature...just to learn later that her stupid scale was broken. Don't lose faith though, I did. Now I'm back on track.
  23. Uh, Ms. Diva. Is that itty bitty skinny face with the curly hair YOU!?! You look fantastic! You all do. Okay, it looks like the Protein shakes are winning out, or at least some form of protein. I think I will try the bars.
