  1. Amen!!! This morning, I thought, "I really really hate my alarm clock!!" My mother began taking fish oil and complained to her doctor about the taste and he told her to freeze them to make them taste less gross and she doesn't have the fish burps either. Try it! Glou! Where the H have you been, gul? I have no concept of the coffee addiction that y'all have. :crying: I could not agree more!!!
  2. I thought that went without saying? I spent a weekend months ago getting all caught up! Aww sweet!!! Yesterday, I saw that your hub said something about J being 10 days old. I can't believe it's already been a week and a half! Ba! I ended up only watching an hour. I was shocked to hear about Chris Brown and Rihanna. I heard that Wrigley's has already pulled his commercials. Now don't tell me that! I'm already trying to keep up on FB and LBT! When I go through my reading spurts, I either read trashy romance novels or murder mysteries. Bad Susan! re: your foot - I hope it gets better sooooon! I broke both of my ankles years and years ago so I understand how annoying being off your feet is. I empathize! OMG I had not heard that it was so unbelievably high. I am so sorry; that's just awful.
  3. I'm somewhat addicted to FB and LBT but can't imagine being that addicted as I've heard people are to WoW! Ooooh the Grammys!
  4. Snort!!
  5. Mine too! Leave it to PG to go completely off topic, sigh. Again, judge not lest YOU be judged.
  6. I'm watching "Peter Perfect" on the Style Network. He cracks me up in his man heels!
  7. Click on "Friends" and then "find friends". You can search by employers, high schools, colleges, or by name. If you use your real name, people will be able to find you but you do not have to accept their friend request(s). I'd also go into your "settings," "privacy settings," and set everything to "friends only." My two cents. :-)
  8. Ba! And clean sheets/bathroom! BRAT!
  9. I'm not saying to not entertain your relatives or friends; I'm just saying a phone call before is a lot more considerate!
  10. But as my mother says, the phone is a wonderful invention! That's beyond rude to just pop in assuming people have nothing else to do than to entertain!
  11. I'd even transport them for free! I'm a giver like that!
  12. Thanks and hmm, I've had one of those!!! I read some book about dealing with stress. When I get stressed or have something on my mind so much that I can't sleep, I keep a notebook or pad of paper by my bed so that i can turn on the light and write down what's on my mind or for to do lists. Women especially have random thoughts/word running through our minds like they're on a loop. Writing these into full sentences help quiet our minds. Just my two cents. Thanks! I feel for you with the DSD sitch. I am so thankful that I didn't pull some dingbat move like that when I was younger. But um hello, me supporting a man? Not bloody likely! (Now supporting a laid off husband or husband that went back to school, etc is an entirely different story!) But supporting some crackhead while he doesn't work? Uh nope! How about "call me at Christmas only?" Ba-da-bing! I like Tippy-Tap! Wait, are you calling me a child?!? :patriot: Wow-we finally get LJM entertained and now you're asking for entertainment!!! :patriot: Hopefully his/her karma will get them sooner rather than later!
  13. It's definitely addicting!!! Donna - having been too tight, I feel for ya sister. Can you tell the difference yet? What does this post mean? Pics from your surgery looks like babies butts??? Me=confused. PJTP - After all the bad news I've read, I hate to tell this but I'm about to pop and I can't tell anyone at work so I'll apologize now. There was an introduction of a new mentor/mentee program at work that I applied for. I found out today that I was one of 10 that got accepted!!! I'm really psyched!
  14. SNORT!!! Ugh, I am really sorry, that sucks. I really hope this plan keeps folks out of the unemployment line! Did I hear that Cali was one of the states having to ask the Federal govt for assistance b/c they were tapped out? OMG that is awesome!! Do you have any idea where these ideas came from? I know the northerners don't wanna hear this but I am kind of getting sick of the teen temperatures. We aren't used to this BS in the south!
  15. Seriously! Wait, or pecan... I was offered the option of COBRA in Tennessee; I would think/hope it would be offered everywhere! I was going to say unless the company has to help pay for it but as much as I paid for mine, I wouldn't think my old company was helping!!! But Tap, won't you miss shoveling snow? Yanno, Missy, I've never known anyone that loved pumpkin stuff and now I know 2 (you and a gf at work). Diva - I thought about you this morning. The folks on the radio this morning were talking about how employees at some company were being asked to take a one-week vacation without pay.
  16. Aww Susan; I am so sorry. Hope you heal quickly (both times)!!! Brandy - if you didn't have bad luck, you'd have no luck at all. Here's a hug (((((Brandy)))))
  17. I agree - funny how FB was initially for colleges only!
  18. Ha, Fanny! Not so interested, huh? :tongue2:
  19. Mac! What a yuk thing to say!
  20. Brandy - I am so sorry. I've been laid off in my career and it really really sucks. But I truly am so much happier now that at that old loser company! Ewwwwwww!!!! Lulu - very sweet of the C man! Can't wait to hear about LJM's bean! I am SO happy it's Friday!!
  21. NoPBJ - just FYI - "ignore" is a great tool!
  22. OMG send some this way - we're still in drought conditions. Those are wild pics!
  23. Sorry, I can't help you with that one. I do have a question tho - why would one use Twitter? I know a couple people on it but don't know why ya need/want it!
  24. MacMadame - I was thinking she was driving (doh). That guy is beyond reprehensible. Brandy - good job! OK I'm the one with self-deprecating humor here. No dissing on yourself, Missy! Ewwwww and ow. Did you get a fricken cookie afterward?? (for giving blood)
  25. Nice asshole emoticon! Hmm, can't decide if I'd want it to fall off or for it to just become completely useless....just like him! :bored:
