  2. Ha!!! No human on earth is perfect...not even PG.
  3. pattygreen is very sanctimonious and judgmental. clearly you all never suffered through a political thread on here!!! (which, btw, you should be thankful for!) Poll: what is your favorite website? I'm looking for something new! (no, Plain, not porn)
  4. FUNNY!!! My brother did that to my mom! She's 5'2" and he turned out to be 6'4" so he made her ribs quite sore! I'm home today so whatcha wanna talk about? :wink5: Ceradad - I believe that you should follow your heart. I too will pray that you make the right decision for your family and are at peace with whatever decision you do make. Good job!!! BYH can also be said in a sympathetic way (tho I don't wanna confuse the non-southerners!!!) Last week, my SVP was telling me about his very ill mother. I heard myself say, "oh bless her heart" and thought about this thread!
  5. Welcome back, Gone! LJM - if you need additional suggestions, let me know! (less than 2 days!)
  6. Good - not sure I'm feeling William Hurt's character but we'll see. Ha - wonder where you heard about hulu (besides your hubby)?!? :huh2:
  7. I have built another addict!!!! Isn't it great?
  8. DH must be a smart, smart guy!
  9. They're free on hulu.com.
  10. Ha! After surgery, you shouldn't be entertaining already, missy! He definitely should use tape so you don't hurt yourself!!! It's on the FX channel Wednesday nights at 10pm ET. Two thumbs up! Here's an article with some Season One history... William Hurt joins 'Damages' for Season 2 intrigue - MSN TV News
  11. Congrats, CC - that's awesome!!!
  12. It absolutely is! It is so well-written and so suspenseful.
  13. One of my gf's talked me into watching last year. It is SO well-written!
  14. Your mouth to God's ears!!! Never ever ever have I or thought I might even want to. Two counties in north Georgia cancelled for cold! Sounds like my old neighbors...I even called the cops on them. It was ridiculous. OK somehow I missed/forgot that you were getting married. I am so excited for you!!! OK SERIOUSLY!!! I tell you about all the cool shows and get no credit - traitor!!!!!
  15. Plain - the Stalker and I were about to meet on a hallway earlier this week and he ducked into a conference room-the big chicken! It was awesome!
  16. Ha!!!!!!! Ha! Good one! Exactly!!!!!
  17. Well I'm glad you're good and have your own personal nurse! FB - i have my brother and 2 cousins on there but they already know i'm crazy so it's not like it's going to be news to anyone! Ohhhhh - what a miracle is it that all of the passengers of today's US Airways crash survived? What great pilots. Halleluia!
  18. Sorry - multi post.... Since I can't rant/rave - let me just say that no good deed goes unpunished! Secondly, I am so thankful for my "paid off" car and its fabulous heater!!!
  19. I'm glad you're better. Are you on a round of antibiotics? 1.) Yippee about the induction date! That's a good friend's birthday! 2.) You know my pat FB advice - accept the request and then BLAM - delete 'em.
  20. "Bless you" is a sweet, honest phrase to me used like "oh thank goodness." "Bless your heart" is much different (to me). Cera - I was so ready to tell you how much I loved you for using "farther" as not many do and then you had to add the "everywhere" information. Wow, I'm not sure where to go w/ that!!! Ha. Amen, Tap....as is common sense!!! Must we? If you find out what the justification was or what he was charged with, pls let us know. I'd like to hear it b/c that seems crazy to me. (Tho I'm not thrilled that he wasted 10 min of gas!!) OK re: south.....to me (i.e. this is not the gospel for anyone else but me), "the south" that has the stereotypes for all things southern (both negative and positive) is more southeast. (KY, TN, MS, AL, GA, NC, SC, n. FLA, LA-i guess) It's more humid in the southeast whereas I think of Texas being drier like NM and AZ or "southwest". Now do native Texans speak slower like we do? Sure! I don't think of Texas having as negative a stereotype but they may. To me, Texas is more Marlboro man, rugged country to me! My 2 cents.
  21. Wow; my paternal grandmother wasn't grandmotherly but she didn't hit me! She was more passive-aggressive with her disappointment.
  22. I absolutely am a car chick but $1.5M for something that immediately depreciates? Oh hell no! Tap - you all definitely need to move from that deep freezer! L2L - the naked lady - I'm a live n let live kinda gal but I think I might have to tell the owners so that they can have a "discussion" with The Flasher! re: grandmasandy - who put a bee in her bonnet? sheesh. Texas isn't in "the south" IMO. It's southwest. "Bless your heart" is what one says after making a comment that is less than favorable. e.g. "that baby just isn't cute....bless its heart" Seriously, eww. I said the exact same thing at work today! Great comment!!! Heck no it wouldn't!!! Fixin' to is all over the south; not just Texas. ROFL!!! Oh hell no it isn't!!!
  23. Right? Me too!!! I believe we are wayyyy too litigious a society but oh, big girl might have to sue for that mess!
  24. Ha!!! Well, She....how do you REALLY feel??? Me too! A couple of co-workers were down last week from Minneapolis. I asked one why they lived there (b/c of the cold). They both said, "I don't know!"
  25. Do like She did and post for a few days and then take them down/off.
