  1. PREACH ON re: SNT's mil. re: Plain having a BF!!! I have my first appointment with the surgeon since surgery (not counting the fills/unfills). I kinda dread it. Well she definitely isn't worth having a stroke over!!! What happens when MIL gets evicted? I hope you've stated in no uncertain terms to DH that she ain't movin' in with y'all!!! Dangit!!! You beat me to the punch! :tt2: Ha!!!
  2. Well I guess 1 out of 4 ain't bad! Perhaps that's a wee bit desperate for my personal taste!!! (Plain, yer pitiful!!) She's just so distracting standing behind the President! She'll be 68 next month. I couldn't decide if her skin was tooooo smooth, her lips too full, or her teeth were weird somehow. Just didn't look natural.
  3. And how do I go about this?? FYI - Nancy Pelosi has had too much work done!
  4. And where should I find said man/love??
  5. Kat - in a bet, I'd take you and SNT in a heartbeat!!! Y'all could kick some assssssss!!!
  6. Thanks so much, Ebony. Thankfully we only lost one extended family member. My aunt's in the hospital with 35% heart pumping effective rate. She's having a heart cath tomorrow morning for to check for blockages. I'm just so glad she's in the hospital so they can watch her. Thank you, Kat. I've heard that old wives' tale my whole life too. I was hoping that mine would end at 3 too. I guess the Lord was lonely? Along with the families of the deaths I've heard about this week, I will put you on my prayer list!!! Lawd I don't wanna live that close to my own parents that I dearly love. I need my space! At 42, I would STILL be grounded possibly not be able to sit down if I'd pulled that mess!!! Hysterical!!! Thank you, dear. HELLO!!! In this or any economy, would does she think it's OK to run up your water and grocery bills?!? Rude. I love the thought that you'd send him to momma. That makes me snicker and we all know I need a good laugh! Lulu-my mother's MIL was quite a piece of work in her own right. My mother is a middle child and took my grandmother's crap for a longgggg time. She too got to the point where she couldn't take it anymore and she straightened my grandmother out but good. One Christmas, mom warned my wussy uncle that "she and her children would up and leave" if my grandmother wasn't nice. Uncle just wanted a warning nod so he could grab my aunt! How I wish I would've known about all this drama at the time! Did you say THREE MILs? I can't find one SOB I think I wanna marry much less threeeeeee!
  7. I cannot believe this day. My cousin whose mother is in the hospital just texted me to say that our cousin's FIL passed away this evening. Hearing about 3 deaths in 1 day is just shocking.
  8. Ba - ain't he gonna be surprised!!!!
  9. Sounds like a plan to me as well. I've had the crappiest day that I've had in I can't remember when. Today I found out: 1. a sweet, sweet male co-worker passed away over the weekend; 2. a friend's stepdad passed away over the weekend; and 3. my aunt is in the hospital with possible congestive heart failure. What the H. Kat I am beyond thrilled about your DD's news. Reading the initial prognosis scared me so. I'm sure the second prognosis made you all absolutely over the moon! I feel the same way! Cheetos slide on down but not chicken. Grr! Now Donna, be nice. That's SMS's row to hoe, not ours.
  10. Um yes, you should definitely go to the dentist more often than every 3 years; esp as you get older!!! I feel for you with the pain. The weekend I moved into this house 2 years ago, I had a toothache that was my first root canal. Thank God mine was of the "no big deal" version instead of the "OMG this is horrid" version! I'm sure hubby was shocked at your suggestion! NOT! When I first read this, I thought you'd done it by mistake! My sympathies, Baby Octomom-ha! That woman has issues. I'm scared of botox too. My mom was a med tech and has told me too many times that it's a toxin. Lulu-does the one that needs to back off, look very surprised/stunned or what?
  11. Just suffice it to say that I am no longer intimidated by someone from college. A former boss had most of our whole office scared of him. I called him on all of his crap! He actually said, "You aren't intimidated by anyone are you?" I said, "Hmm, I guess not." I hadn't really thought about it until he said it out loud but that was a pretty cool thing to realize (esp before I had to meet my bro's ex-inlaws)!
  12. I think your lips look good now! OK so I'm a needle chicken; I admit it!
  13. I'm watching this E! show on plastic surgery. Why in the world do women inject fillers that make them look like they're been punched in the mouth (e.g. Meg Ryan, Nicole Kidman, Melanie Griffith)? Now they're showing these 2 people who have had over 35 procedures. Ow! I absolutely understand fixing something that bothers you but I don't get those that are addicted so badly that they no longer look like themselves! Eek.
  14. You KNOW I was absolutely kidding!!! I work in midtown Atlanta where the gay men live so I've heard "queen" in that context a lot!!!
  15. Oh and I forgot one additional PJTP...I hafta post it on here instead of FB b/c I just sent a "friend" an email through FB that was 24 years in the making. I know, I shoulda let it go but it sure was fun!
  16. I thought only He was fit to judge anyway? Lulu, dear, I'm sorry but I must admit to laughing at this. I cannot imagine how badly that hurt though. My klutz story is that I was at a Tennessee/Arkansas game in Little Rock and was running my mouth and stepped into a big storm drain. I broke not one, but both fibulas/fibulae (outer calf bone). I have other "graceful" stories but this is el numero uno. You married a gay man? :wink2: I'm 5'4"ish/obese and my fricken younger brother is 6'4" and 170ish. WTH?!? (Yes, same parents.) SWEET!!! Let us know how it was! Oh good! Please continue to give us updates. This is when "bless her heart" truly means sympathy and empathy tho!
  17. We have fried corn nuggets and fried mac n cheese at our cafeteria. Disgusting! Any kind of fried potato tho - slurp! :tt2: OK ewwwwww! No french fries? :tt2: Oh god <putting fingers in ears> not listening about chocolate cake! I'm all about the TOM; I seriously wanted to chunk my work PC out the fricken window today. POS. Surprisingly, I have actually been very nice to people....just not to technology!!
  18. bow chicka bow bow!!!
  19. This made me cackle!!! :mad2: I saw this at work today. I guess the people have spoken!! There's nothing about a fried twinkie that sounds tempting!!
  20. re: PG - I just can't imagine being that judgmental. Who is she to judge someone else? Aren't we all made in His image? I'm so sorry about your DD, Kat. I will definitely be thinking about her. Ha! Get out of my head! OMG behind TMI! Ditto, unfortunately. Lulu as a groupie, humorous.
  21. I thought the magical drink was Mountain Dew!?! Diet Schmiet!
  22. PJTP - my Lady Vols (Univ of Tennessee women's bball team) are having a pink night for breast cancer awareness tonight. The whole arena has on pink tees, our bball players have on white uniforms w/ pink trim, and the opponents (Duke) have on pink trimmed uniforms. It's really cool! Unfortunately they're kicking our butts right now. :-(
  23. Ha! You have an excuse tho! Aww, Happy Anniversary!!! I don't think it's perfect for the season but it sure would taste good!!!
  24. Hope it works for ya!! Tippity - I am SO with you. My doctor made some remark about me going "backwards" with my unfill. I thought, "Yeah that's easy for you to say...you weren't the one throwing up for 12 hours!!!"
