  1. I just bought a copy for $50. It's in .avi format, so you have to watch it from your computer unless your dvd player is fancy and can read .avi format. PM me if you want more info to get your copy.
  2. Congratulations on your surgery and good luck on your journey.
  3. Congratulations! Good luck on your continued success.
  4. Congratulations and good luck on your journey.
  5. Congratulations on getting approval. You are on your way. Good luck.
  6. Congratulations!
  7. I have the same problem area. My lower part is shrinking, but the upper belly isn't going away.
  8. I have been watching this show since season one and it gets better and better. I'm glad they're at the one hour format for this season. A half-hour just wasn't enough. Ruby is so inspirational.
  9. I would like to get down to 130 lbs. I haven't told my surgeon or anyone else about this either. My surgeon's goal for me is 148 lbs, which is 3 lbs away from where I am at now, and I'm still fat. He has already marked me as a success story, but I don't feel successful because I have not reached goal yet. When I reach my goal, maybe I will feel successful.
  10. I have bipolar disorder with major depression and adhd. I am only taking meds for the bipolar disorder. I refuse to take medication that will cause any weight gain, so therefore no meds for the depression. I am not taking anything for the adhd because the medication that was recommended for me causes serious liver damage. I am as stable as I can be considering I no longer have access to marijuana, which really helps me with my mood swings. It was a very hard adjustment after getting banded because of all of the throwing up and other nonsense associated with just being banded. I'm ok now as far as band stabilization. I go for another fill in ten days and I'm almost two years post op.
  11. I'm in for 10 lbs by Mother's Day. I'm so close to goal, it will be a challenge.
  12. I've had absolutely no problems with onions. I love them. I love celery too, but it doesn't like the banded me, so I stay away from celery.
  13. My goal weight would put me in a 2-4. I'm in a 6 now, and I'm still pretty big. When I lose these last 22 lbs, I'll be happy at whatever size I'm in.
  14. Do you have access to a nutritionist as part of your surgical team? He/she would be able to guide you in the right direction as far as nutrition is concerned. Getting fills sometimes are hit or miss. You won't know whether or not the next fill will work until after you get it. You just have to hold on until you can get in to see the doctor. You went through a lot of work not to mention the time spent to get the surgery, now is not the time to throw in the towel. You have to push through. I hope someone else can further assist you. Good luck!
