  1. I was sleeved Feburary 10th and noticed I felt hungry all the time and was sipping like crazy! I'm on a clear liquid still but was constantly feeling hungry. I started taking a PPI, Zantac and it's helped immensely, it taught me that part of what I thought was hunger was actually reflux. I would ask your surgeon about taking something for reflux. Good luck! I have noticed that I'm having to relearn my body and its signals. It's a little strange [emoji2]
  2. Which one? The trader joes one?
  3. Tossed with balsamic, salt and pepper and wrapped in foil on the grill... But I will proceed with caution because I have gotten myself into trouble eating too many and having major gas pains! Like worse than sleeve surgery gas pains from the little green monsters!
  4. Jane- I would cry if I could no longer have hot sauce ! Hot sauce and lemons are two things I NEED for survival ????
  5. Glad its working well! Keep taking those pics so when you have skinny little legs you remember how far you have come!
  6. oh! sounds good ! We have sworn off ketchup in my house in favor of Franks! lol
  7. Ok, so desperation here because I'm still in the post op stage of clear liquids....so I am having beef broth and added Franks red hot. OMG its good! Reminds me of Phó soup....like the siracha you put on the meat when you eat Phó ! yeah!!!!
  8. It took me a few days I actually think about day 3 but I was confusing it with gas pains. Now almost a week out, I am waking up with hunger pains first thing in the morning! Hope they will calm down once I get off this clear liquid diet and on to full liquids
  9. Yup. During the 2 week pre-op diet....I used it in my unjury chicken soup. Saved the day !!! OMG I did this today with Franks red hot in my home made chicken broth. OMG!! it was amazing!!! I am now sad because the 8oz of broth I had was the last of the chicken broth I had!!! Tomorrow I will be making more broth.
  10. You look great! I'm 5'3 and can't wait until I'm at a similar weight! I'm so ready to be "tiny" and not "short and fat" ????
  11. I had surgery last Wednesday, 7am I rolled into the OR. I was discharged Thursday at 5pm. Good luck! Oh I should say I had a sleeve
  12. Yazan- you look like a different person already! Chilet- wow! What a transformation! You look great
  13. I am only 1 week post op.....well, it will be a week tomorrow so at this point I weight daily and when I step on the scale and don't see a weight loss its time to take a look at my intake and movement. Of course this will change the closer I get to my goal weight but for now its where Im at.
  14. I have 4 pair of 2x danskin yoga pants. 2 pair long pants both black and 2 pair Capri length one black , one navy. They are PETITE! So shorter legs. I guess the capris don't matter though. So, they are not perfect , been washed a few times but great for those In between while your losing weight quickly. Just pay shipping and they are yours. Let me know if anyone is interested ????
  15. I'm meh about Siracha. Frank's red hot...I put that s*it on everything! During my preop diet when I needed something to chew I would have a tablespoon of fat free cottage cheese with Frank's dripped on top. Loved it!!!
  16. So sorry, I agree about the nap ! I had a migraine the day before surgery also but took some prescription zomig and it was ok
  17. You can do this! No worries! One of the first things I did was start asking myself "am I hungry or am I just wanting to eat this because it's in front of me ?" Surprisingly enough, the answer was usually no I was not hungry. Good luck on your journey!
  18. My best friend post op has been a heating pad or the kind you heat in the microwave. Being in that hospital bed for 2 days did my back no favors so once I was home all I did was put heat on my back and it feels so much better. I also feel that relaxing my muscles helped to move the gas also. Good luck!
  19. Chicago proper ! I was just sleeved last week so I am still in awe at how quickly I'm dropping weight already. It's unbelievable and brings tears to my eyes almost daily
  20. You look great congratulations! And girl, be glad the unsupportive partner is gone! Time for a whole new life and getting out to meet new people! Just means that person was not the one for you....????
  21. I am also noticed I sipped too quickly last night trying to finish that last bit of tea in my cup. Big mistake! I paid for that via the uncomfortable tightness...won't do that again! ????????
