Constantly Hungry!

I need advice. I'm a little over one week post op from vsg surgery. I'm currently on full liquids and will start pureed foods next Tuesday but I have a problem. I'm constantly hungry and I'm only one week post op?! I will feel full on 1/2 of full liquid foods but an hour later I'm hungry. My program allows three meals no snacks. I've heard and read people saying saying they didn't feel hungry 3 to 6 months post op. Is there something wrong with me? I feel my surgeon didn't do the procedure right! I also thought I wasn't getting enough water in but I'm drinking 64 Oz of water a day. ANY advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having the same feeling. Like your stomach needs to growl. I was thinking it was reflux too. Going to doc on friday for 4 week post op appt. Going to talk to him about it. Sent from my SM-G920P

I was sleeved Feburary 10th and noticed I felt hungry all the time and was sipping like crazy! I'm on a clear liquid still but was constantly feeling hungry. I started taking a PPI, Zantac and it's helped immensely, it taught me that part of what I thought was hunger was actually reflux.

I would ask your surgeon about taking something for reflux.

Good luck!

I have noticed that I'm having to relearn my body and its signals. It's a little strange [emoji2]

liquids tend to go through you faster than solid foods. I am pretty sure its completely normal it was for me.

I hit 2 weeks tomorrow. I've gotten hungrier and hungrier. I have my first follow up tomorrow. Should get moved to mushy foods, and expect a stronger reflux med. currently on Pepcid.
