  9. Down 177lbs in 6months now. The best advice i can give is follow your surgeons orders to a T. Drink lots of Water and cut out all carbs and sugars. I pretty much eat Proteins and veggies. I also exercise pretty much every single day. I hope to hit my goal weight by my one year anniversary.Where do you get your proteins from and what type of exercise do you do and how long? Sent From Galaxy Note 5 using the BariatricPal App Im still doing 2-3 premiere shakes a day. I eat chicken or fish everyday and as far as exercise i walk around 4-5 miles a day with my dogs thats pretty much it.

  13. Dating has been difficult for me since the surgery. I was sleeved back in december and started dating in the spring. I have dated 3 different people and this last one has been going on 2months now and i think its going well. I feel like i can trust someone better that i knew before i lost all my weight. You tend to get a lot more attention now than you do before you lost the weight.
  14. I just did a google search for local therapists in my area. None took my insurance so i had to pay out of pocket but they have a sliding scale so its not awful. I go every other week and I can't for sure if its working because its still new but I'm going to give it a shot before i consider taking any medication.

  18. I have been dealing with bouts of anxiety since my surgery. I'm now 6months post op and physically doing great. Down over 140lbs and i feel amazing physically but am an emotional mess. I have developed really bad anxiety. My therapist says its cognitive distortion and its almost next to impossible to control. I do have moments of clarity but they are few and far between. I have also recently started dating and having trouble being intimate with performance anxiety were before surgery i had zero issues. Has any other people have similar issues? Would love to hear your story!
  19. Talk to your PCP. It's unusual for the weight loss to trigger this at 6 months but you never know. No one should feel the need to live with anxiety - there are meds that will help and therapy is good at anytime! I am looking into seeing a therapist.

  21. I'am just about 6months post op and my mental health as slowly been on the decline. My anxiety is really bad with borderline panic attacks daily. I'am not sure if the surgery triggered this but i never had an issue prior.

  26. I was just at my local costco picking up my premiere chocolate and didn't notice the new flavor yet. Next time i go to restock if they don't have them i will def be sure to ask about it.
  27. i was 520lbs at my heaviest before i started my pre op diet. I had my surgery on dec30th of 2015. I had my 3 month post op visit this morning and i am down 104lbs. I feel amazing my energy level is through the roof and i can do a lot of things i couldn't do before. I really been working hard every day with exercising and sticking to a strict diet. I do not and will not become the person i used to be.
