I had intermittent back paint POD4. It can by Protein intake that isn't supplemented well enough with Water, excessive gas production, or simple muscle fatigue. Mine was due to the excess gas buildup that went away after Gas-x.

Have you been working out or done anything that could've strained your back? Is your water intake adequate? Have you tried gas-x/Beano?

My best friend post op has been a heating pad or the kind you heat in the microwave. Being in that hospital bed for 2 days did my back no favors so once I was home all I did was put heat on my back and it feels so much better. I also feel that relaxing my muscles helped to move the gas also.

Good luck!

Haven't been working out just walking. I was told it could be gas build up but it starting to get uncomfortable after like 20 minutes standing up I have to sit down. I will have to try that gas-x. I drink plenty of water not enough protein yet so maybe that's it.

Thanks for your help

I'll try the heating pads.

Thanks.
