  1. Hi I'm 5 days after surgery. Just wondering anyone else gets sudden leg cramps or calf cramps ? I called the dr and she told me drink lots more water and I'm trying.
  2. It feels so good to be moving. But man! I am out of shape!I'm trying to go back today but I'm nervous because I also had a hernia repair. Afraid of over doing it. Sent from my SM-G530T using the BariatricPal App I had a hernia repair too. Just take it easy. Ur body will tell you if you had enough.

    Today has been an off day. Haven't been able to keep anything down. Only thing I have ate is the protein and less than half an egg which is weird since I can always finish the egg. Anyone has days like this?

  6. I know the feeling. But remember that you are still recovering and healing and adapting. My doctor reminded me of of something. When we don't get enough Water with our new tummy our body will retain the water we do consum because it thinks you are starving yourself and dehydrating. So be patient with your new tummy and your new brain. Trust me... I struggle with wanting new results every day. I also struggle with wanting to be healed and wanting something normal...day by day...pound by pound. We will get there! I'm so trying. Thank you. ️
  7. I haven't lost weight in 2 weeks. I'm so frustrated [emoji31][emoji35]
  8. It feels so good to be moving. But man! I am out of shape!Haha me too. But little by little we can do it.
  9. I experienced the same. My dr says that that's my body telling me I'm not ready for that food. Just eat that food another week or so and try again.
  10. Finally hit the gym and feel great. How is everyone else doing?

  12. 3 lbs down from last week. I only weigh in on Monday mornings. I have to send the numbers to my doctor so I decided I would only weigh when I need to do it for him so that I wouldn't drive myself nuts.Yea I'm doing it weekly because I would do it everyday and I found that when I didn't see weight loss, I would get discouraged. But with weekly is better. Keep up the good work.

    Any February Surgery Dates Out There?

    How does this work? Do just monitor the calories? Does your Dr give a meal plan? Are you able to eat from a list of food choices? This sounds challenging.My NUT and DR gave me a list of stage 2 foods for purée. What I do is put a timer on my phone so every 3 hours I will eat something. I can't eat much. So I either take my time and eat whatever I puréed which can take 2 hours to finish or just eat two or three bites till I'm full. I use the Fitbit app that tracks what calories and foods I am taking in. Is not challenging you just have to get used to it and remember you can't eat like you used too. I have yet to try tuna I'm not fish person but other than that I am able to eat anything that is soft enough for me.
  15. I have them regular. No need to puréed them. Just be sure to take small bites and chew and that they are super soft. You should be fine.

    I am almost 4 weeks out and can only eat 300-450 calories a day.

    You should also try the chewable . Most of them are pretty tasty.
  18. Those who started purée how quickly do you get full. I take two bites and feel like I ate a horse. Anyone experiencing the same. ??

    Back pain

    Haven't been working out just walking. I was told it could be gas build up but it starting to get uncomfortable after like 20 minutes standing up I have to sit down. I will have to try that gas-x. I drink plenty of water not enough protein yet so maybe that's it. Thanks for your help I'll try the heating pads. Thanks.

  23. I already get puree. I get soft foods starting this weekend. Which I don't really understand. I have been told to stay away from carbs but some of the soft foods they list are Mac n cheese & oatmeal. ????I was told soft oatmeal is fine but never heard of Mac and cheese. Every doctor is different I guess. Hope you enjoy ☺️I'm scared????... don't want to introduce carbs back yet. I went through carb withdrawals and that wasn't cute. I felt horrible. ???? And there isn't enough fiber in our diets to support that quantity of cheese. ????????Yea. Don't try anything ur not comfortable with is my advice.
