  1. I have always used a desk drawer at the Nurses station. My clerks ALWAYS have an empty drawer for purses etc and I just drop my bottle of water in there and pull it out when needed
  2. Its easy to change your name and delete photos.....maybe even start new email that does not have your name in it and use that for sites such as this. Just another way to maintain some semblance of annonymity.......
  3. If you have a friend who can buy you gift cards for costco you can shop there without a membership
  4. I'm in IL and just started my 6 month wait this month also. It seems like it will be forever but I know it will go quickly! Have you found a surgeon and a program ?
  5. Have you looked into the center at St Joseph hospital in Chicago? Dr Lutfi is excellent and I believe they offer a self pay option. Good luck!
  6. It's very common in those who are overweight but also in women who have been pregnant. The increased pressure on the abdomen can lead to hiatal hernia especially. I'm having my Upper GI soon and I am about 98% sure they will find I have a hiatal hernia. My surgeon says it is his policy to always repair hernias when he operates.
  7. Pediatric Nurse...I care for tiny people!
  8. I am going with a need to know basis and for me that means my partner and she won't tell anyone ! Oh and my surgeon ! I will let him know ! LOL!!
  9. Before you change surgeons I would call your insurance company and ask about how difficult is it to switch mid way through the process. Also if they can recommend a surgeon so it will be someone who is familiar with your insurance process and hopefully will not delay the process much if at all. Good luck!
