Dr. Ron Hekier I am sitting here reading my release papers and It states that I received a Inamed 9.75 cm Lapband (5cc balloon) it goes on to say how many stitches he used. What I'm saying is he went into great detail on what he did and how he did it. So are you telling me that the 5cc balloon is incorrect.

Was wondering if any one with the band has every taken diet pills. Before I got the band I was taking a diet pill that gave me engery (did not keep me from eating) Now that I have the band I don't seem to get hungrey but don't seem to have enough engery.

Isn't it strange how we all have different taste buds. I think crystal light taste alot sweeter than fruit 2 o.

I'm feeling fine. The mushie food is going okay, but I sure do want a large salad with a half bottle of ranch dressing. But the swelling in my stomach just don't seem to be going down.

Has anyone tryed the fruit 2 0 drinks, they are really good. I like them better than the crystal light.

The pain from the incisions to me were not bad at all. The gas pain was another story. I'm two weeks out of surgery and I still have some gas pains. But I did go back to work 4 days after surgery (desk job)

Hi jKelley I'm only about 30 min. from you (Opelika). I had surgery on Aug. 8, 2005 in Mexico. Dr. Rumbaut did my surgery. Where did you have surgery?

I couldn't admitt that I was fat till my first grandchild was born in Feb. It hit me then that if I want to be able to get down in the floor and play with him, I had to do something. Thats when I started doing research on the band.

I had glue and steri-strips, my surgery was 10 days ago, all the steri-strips have came off except on the port.

Was banded 9 days ago, I am having a burning (sometimes) in the left side of my stomach, but not right at the port area, has anyone else felt this?

I agree 100% I have been thinking it for a couple of weeks now. She looks really great.

Everyday will get better. I had some ps years ago, and I still remember the pain like it was yesterday. It was well worth it. My thoughts are with you.
