  1. I ate chips and Dip till I was about to pop the night before surgury. I also was banded in MX.
  2. Amy, It is gas. I had it really bad. Everyone says walking and taking gas-x helps. They did not help me much. Glycern suppositories are the only thing that helped. It will get better. Just keeping thinking of all the weight your going to loose.

  8. I am a self pay, can't help you with the insurance. But I would suggest you go to the Insurance form and ask the same question. Good luck to you
  9. Missy, hang in there it does get better. I'm sure your having those terrible gas pains right now, but they really do get better. Right after surgery I was saying the same thing (what have I done to my self) I have lost 30lbs now so I can tell you it is worth the pain. Get well soon.

  23. Alex, I'm wishing you the very best of luck. I'm not sure I understand about the band slippage. I was under the impresson that onces your stomach has healed from surgery that there would be scare tissue around the band that would hold it in place. I thought that was the reason we can not eat solids for the first 6 weeks. Please explain this to me. I'm only 3 weeks post-op.
