There is a couple of things you can look at first what what was you like pria to surgery and if you are on fluids your pooping can be a lot slower. If you are worried try to have a chat with your Doctor or Dietitian

I'm going to say congrats. And if that was just a one time treat then it wasn't a horrible choice. Cereal isn't the worst choice. You didn't have a whole bag of chocolate.
So look at it for what it is. You wanted it and you enjoyed it in moderation.
Just record the things you are eating so you can look back and see when there is a turning point. When does a treat turn into a regular occurrence. When does a small amount turn into excess.
I think life is a balance in every aspect and you seem to know that you've come a long way and worked very hard. But you can handle making some decisions to keep your weight in check and enjoy your food as well.
I'm not a die hard shamer here. I just say do what you know you can do. And you are under 140 and for anyone here that's fabulous. Congrats!!!!

Does your Protein powder taste like it has a medicinal taste? I use powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury which I find very pleasant tasting. Another benefit is that it has 100% Protein isolate, which is the protein most absorbable. Another brand that is all isolate and a good taste are Syntrax nectar. I haven't tasted GENEPRO but heard it is tasty also.

Benefiber has been helpful for me on advice of other sleevers. I use it in coffee, oatmeal, other things but mainly coffee. It dissolves completely and you can't tell it's in there. The Fiber one bars were helpful too, but has the side affect of gas. My gastroenterlogist explained that since sleevers are taking in less food volume, the colon perceives it doesn't have to "move things along" as frequently as normal.
Miralax helps some people, also(recommended by my gastro doc) but didn't help me as much as the Benefiber.
Looks like your on the right track with eating. Good luck!!

Ditto to what everyone said about Water being essential to organ function, healing and necessary for fat metabolism (ie without proper hydration, your body can't/won't break down your fat and you won't lose weight)
The other big point is for quite awhile post op you just can't chug a bunch of Water if you do get dehydrated. Between 6 and 12 weeks post op I had bad diarrhea from a C. diff infection. It would not have been that big of a deal with a normal sized stomach, but I simply could not keep up with my Fluid requirements made worse from the diarrhea. I ended up needing IV fluids 3 times. Nearly passed out several times because my blood pressure dropped so low. I just couldnt drink enough fast enough with my tiny sleeve.
And, BTW, the 6 weeks that I was so sick and chronically dehydrated was also my longest weight loss stall. As soon as I was better and could finally drink enough water that my body needed, I lost 8 pounds in 1 week! So go ahead and do your own independent research, or simply take it from the experts and know that hydration IS the most important thing.

Hey, check out this you tube video on how to use myfitness pal... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fnLBDx-CXt0
I've been using it for a month and it is amazing how much having the data can help you manage your intake. So if in the afternoon I know I'm jonesing for something sweet, I eat more veggies and save the carbs for a weight watchers ice cream...

I am 5 months out and have lost 55 lbs. I have hit a plateau. I haven't really lost in the past 3-4 wks. I have signed up for My Fitness Pal but I don't know how to use a lot of things on it, especially for my smart phone (Android). any suggestions/tips would be most appreciated both for using My Fitness Pal and how to break the plateau.

Sleeved 2/24/14, down 45 lbs. Best thing I could have done for myself. My joints are thanking me. I have more energy, less joint pain, and my self confidence is better. Wish I had done it sooner!

Protein bar and your powdered Protein shake mix plus a shaker cup-you can always buy Water to mix, especially if you are flying to your destination-no liquids allowed. I was terrified of traveling. Worried about what I was going to be able to eat. Better to over pack than not. You will do just fine.

Raisin bran sounds good. I'll have Multigrain Cheerios with 1% milk and splenda when I need a Cereal fix. I can never seem to gauge how much it takes to fill me up though, and wind up throwing out a lot of it. I used to eat a lot of Special K Protein cereal pre-surgery, but it just doesn't seem to appeal to me now.

The vast majority of people in this world do indulge on holidays. That is normal and typical and NOT a sign you are regressing. You had 10 milk duds. Did you eat three servings of dinner and then a large slice of pie and then sneak another one when no one was looking? That is unhealthy and abnormal behavior. You stopped, you recognized, you give yourself a break. Feeling guilty over these choices will only lead to more self-destructive behavior.
