  1. Yes..I was after surgery. .on prescription now..have to be tested again in two weeks
  2. Do only protein for a day or two..no carbs..trick your metabolism a bit...I did that and it worked ..lean protein. .shakes...etc..
  3. I had oatmeal. .yogurt. .tuna..quinoa..cream of wheat. .try pinterest for protein recipes
  4. I make my own decaf coffee vwith premier protein vanilla shake...liaded with protein. .no sugars but still sweet and very delish!
  5. Well I started incorporating carbs into my diet at 7 weeks and I have been doing fine. I add only the carbs allowed (whole wheat/multrigrain bread/cereal and 1 tortilla) I dont have this everyday but I do try to have no more than 40g carbs a day. Sugars I stay below 20g and fats at about less than 10g..I do walking everyday and drink up alot of Protein. I think you may want to pay attention as to how the foods you are eating are being prepared. Also watch out for sodium...Wings are high in fat....breaded shrimp (is its baked?) and how much does that 2x2 chicken weight...My protein is at about 2oz. still so I have to weigh all my food...Its not easy , but you will get there..its just finding the right balance.Follow your menu plan from doctor and you should be fine too =)

I'm 8 weeks currently am 202 ..sw 229.4 hw. 239.6...I stalled at 6 weeks. ..I decided to stick to only fish for 2 days along with protein shakes through out...not sure why but was able to break it. ..it helped...try lean proteins nothing to heavy or hard to break down. ..also I upped my protein intake from 60g to 90g....
  7. My doctor gave me ursodiol to take for 6 months to prevent gall stones. ..not sure why not many docs do same ; (
  8. Its tough but you got to stay on your plan. .I had clear liquids for four days then full liquids...r u suppose to be on "clear only" fir two weeks? ? If not you can have cream of wheat (runny) protein shakes even some soups..
  9. Yes salt is almost non existing in my diet..could be the water :/ its just weird bcuz my tummy will look extended by the end of the day. .when I wake up its back to normal. But still feel uncomfortable at times..
  10. So I'm almost 8 weeks post op..have been noticing some major bloating. .not sure what us causing it as I am trying to stay away from dairy products. ..has anyone else notice this?

  15. Would u have lost the same amount of weight had uou not done tge rny program??? That is what I asked myself when I felt the sane way as you...reality is that losing the weight gave me more motivation to see this through..I am 7 weeks post op and very happy :-)
  16. Well my menu calendar per doctor orders include whole wheat bread/corn tortilla/soups/cereal...so carbs are definitely in those foods. .im 7 weeks post op n I have hit a stall since incorporating these foods...wonder if I should continue eating them?

Yes yes yes!...left pain is the worse especially when going to bathroom ...well atleast for me it was...try a heating pad..if you can't get one make one..two socks and a 1 1/2 cup rice...microwave it ...and Walla! I googled it..lol...i needed one desperately. ..it really helped. ..also do try walking as much as u can...moving around will help also with the healing it does get better!
