  1. I am a nervous wreck. Not sure why! lol It is my first official weigh in and life style class today. I see the surgeon on 9-4. I am excited too but so afraid this will not pan out. I have all of my hopes in this. I was in another meeting this week with my VERY THIN team/coworkers. I want to focus on my job and not how big I am the whole time. Anyway, I will let you know how it goes and what they provide me. I am going to UPMC MaGee Hosptial here in Pittsburgh. I have already call about my insurance and they said it would be covered if I follow the 3 month plan (Aetna POS II). We will see.... I hope the hospital does not make me go 6 months if I only need three. Fingers crossed!!!!
  2. Welcome aboard!! Glad to have you. Everyone is so nice here.
  3. Wow good for you both. I am so glad to see your starting weight. I'm around 274 right now. It gives me hope!
  4. Gods luck and prayers! You be fine and thinner in days. :-).
  5. Hi. Near Beaver! But spend a lot of time near Philly.
  6. Well I agree with you. It's sad but things can happen. Im getting a will and having all the bills in order for hubby. More in case I'm too sick or in the hospital longer then planned. But You will be fine!!
  7. 120 grams. Wow. That's really tough. Can you eat that much? And yes I know a few people who were never hungry at the beginning but the hunger does come back. Hang in there!
  8. That's so awesome. I always think of butter stacked up to keep things in perspective. Great job!
  9. I'm glad you all posted. It's a great reminder to us out there still in the approval process. It makes me think of all the people out there that say this is the easy way out. Hang in there. :-)
  10. I love the camel back bottles. They kinda force you to sip. I have two and they are great.
  11. Movie popcorn. I'll have to take my own snacks I guess. But we wil be able to have a few bites of sweets later on. However I don't think I want to even go there. Once I start I can't stop.
  12. Ya they drop pretty bad. My BF first surgery post op is her boobs. I'm worried about that and yes hubby is too lol but I'm more worried about bat wings. A good bra can hide them for a while. Bat wings are just awful.
  13. Watch about the skinnys! Some of the skinny syrups are not sugar free just lower sugar. Make sure you ask. :-). This will be my hard hurdle too. LOVE coffee. :-)
  14. Welcome!! Everyone here is great. Wonderful Information to help with all the nerves. I've decided not to tell anyone. My hubby and BF know but she had the surgery last Jan. She's down 110 pounds and looks great. I'm new at my job so taking time for this would be looked down upon. I just don't want to deal with the questions. Also the 'haters' out there would make things difficult. Oh and my mother would freak out. Maybe after I'll tell her.
  15. It started out pork fat and then bacon made me sick. I cut out all pork and now it seems like dairy maybe bothering me. Stomached cramps and what goes with it.
  16. Was thinking that with all the tests we have to get I have been becoming paranoid about them finding other issues that have to be fixed... I am thinking I have gall bladder issues or colitis. Anyone have issue discovered from the testing? Did it set you back?
  17. Hang in there and hope you feel better soon!!
  18. Ye it seems to be!!! Good luck to all I you. I'll certainly be thinking about you!
