  1. U look amazing! U surely don't look like u have more weight to lose! Wow, congrats!
  2. My doctors office sells these. Full of protein and they melt in your mouth, so u don't have to wait until you are on full foods. They are available in bbq and sour cream and onion and each have 12 grams of protein. Only about $1.50 a bag.
  3. How do u make it taste good?
  4. I say u count the total weight lost from beginning to end. After all you had to work for every one of those pounds! Congrats on your loss!
  5. Looks very good! Thanks for the idea!
  6. Let us know how it tastes!
  7. My co-worker drinks it daily. It is supposed to be great for you, but I do not know about taking it after the surgery.
  8. That is so great! Congratulations!
  9. Jenneliza posted a recipe for crabcakes. Check out the post http://www.rnytalk.com/topic/2875-jenelizzas-crab-cakes/
  10. My fitness pal is great. There are a lot of us as friends for encouragement. See the following post for usernames. http://www.rnytalk.com/topic/2211-my-fitness-pal/
  11. Congrats and welcome! Sorry to hear about everything else that is going on, but sounds like u deserve better. Awesome loss so far!
  12. Good luck, praying for a smooth surgery!
  13. My doc said it was for my comfort only. He said there is no medical reason for it. Some people feel better wearing it is all. I didn't wear it most of the time, bit did find it very helpful in the car atleast for the first week or two.
  14. The jay robb protein shakes are very good. No after taste or grittiness at all. They have many flavors.
  15. Congrats! It will start coming off faster as the swelling and fluid retention go down from the surgery. 3 lbs so far is awesome, I don't think I started losing post op until day 5 or 6!
  16. I believe Benedryl is fine. It wasn't on my list of drugs not to take. Ask your Dr. to be sure though. Pink, I think u will do great! Don't think of it as giving things up. When u can eat again post op it is okay to have a bite of something u are craving. As long as it is not very often. And Just so otherwise u are following the do's and dont's. I don't think even the surgeon expects u to never have another bite of ....... But to ne honest, your taste buds are going to change. It is a lifestyle change. A better lifestyle. U will probably find that u like healthier food more. Especially when u see the awesome results!
  17. Do what u can to follow, but I will be honest. I slipped a few times. The big thing I think is carbs and losing the weight your doctor requires prior to surgery. My surgery was 7/24 and all went well even though I slipped. But I made sure to not have any carbs. I am not a Dr. Though so make sure u try your hardest to follow his/her requirements.
  18. My thoughts and prayers are with u and your family. They will fix this and u will be better in no time! Hang in there. I am sorry u r going through this!
