  1. Crackers are easy for me. I'm 3-1/2 months post op. I normally don't eat any bread, but I did tonight.
  2. Couple saltine crackers, 1/4c tomato soup, 1/4 grilled cheese.
  3. The PureProtein from Costco was what worked for me. 30oz protein...I'm 3-1/2 mos post op now ans couldn't choke one down for anything!!!
  4. Well I didn't have surgery to get halfway there!! 50% of your excess weight gone is their 6 month expectation.
  5. Dang!! Started at a 44DD...now a 40DD...the boobies aren't going anywhere...thankfully!!
  6. Tortillas are one of two foods that make me feel like death.
  7. Surgery Date: 10/05/12 HW 315 Day of Surg 306 CW 253 GW 140
  8. I didn't have a catheter. I did have a bulb drain. It was maintained by nurses.
  9. Try a protein heavy diet. Ketosis is great for weight loss!!
  10. Jessie, if you would like to run, may I suggest Couch to 5k. App is C25K. Awesome!! I did it two years ago when I was 270# and still a long way from RNY. I had my surgery on 10/5/12. I run at least 4 times a week. Yes, I'm heavy (255#), but I'm losing everyday...and anyone who wants to stare can watch me the entire four miles!!! Lol
  11. Fiusha, Thank you!! I jog 3.6 miles a day about 5 days a week. I consume around 800-1000 calories, mostly Protein. I burn 600 calories on each run, but if I don't eat enough, I do not lose! I cannot stomach shakes anymore!! Ugh!!
  12. I went to a Center of Excellence. No pre op diet except the day before, obvi
  13. The hardest day for me was post op day 5. I'm 14 weeks post op today!! Down 60# and feeling on top of the world!! There's no way someone could explain to me 14 weeks ago how amazing I would feel today. I have a little over 100# to get to goal, but it's doable!!! This is an awesome resource!! We are all here for each other! Best of luck! You're in for the ride of your life!!!
  14. Gee whiz I think most people lose faster than me!! I hope I can be down another 30# in January!!! Y'all inspire me!!!!
  15. It seems like when I stall nothing will effect the weight loss...not protein, not water, not exercise...so, we just put on our big girl panties and keep doing what we know is right. Eventually...which can be weeks at this point...the body will respond. Good luck. I know how frustrating it can be.
