Vicki, I have been on 5000 mg of Biotin daily for about a month. I figure any preemptive care would be all that much better!! There is another shampoo post ops talk about a lot - Fall Out or something. I think it's by Garnier, but I have to use the rest of my Pantene before I purchase!

Mine didn't require a pre op diet either, but I'm self-mandating a liquid diet this week (my surgery is Friday). Have you tried isopure or the "fruit punch" like proteins?

I, too, had to have a full blood panel prior to surgery. Also the lab mishandled some of my blood, so I had to go back! With surgery pending, they will likely be swift getting your pcp the results. Good luck!!

Sounds like you have some time. My approval letter came the week after my verbal approval. Sounds like you have a thorough surgeon who wants to make sure your ticker is in good shape and that there are no surprises. That's a good thing!!! These minor setbacks will help ensure your success! This was reassuring to read. I posted last week about weird dreams too!! Mine haven't been nightmares exactly, but there have been CRAZY things...everything from killing a spider with a pair of tongs to jumping a fence to get away from a bear!!! For me, when I looked up in the dreamers dictionary, I could find a lot of connections between my dreams and weight loss surgery. My surgery date is 10/05.

I'm totally worried!!! Right now I'm trying to balance my need to lose 10 lbs with my desire to have my favorite things a few more times!!

I have 10 days until I'm post op. I am not letting myself feel anything but calm right now. I'm sure as I get closer to next Friday, my nerves will win over my mind!!
