To Sad Right Now

Well I was under the impression that I was approved but I was wrong. The reason I thought I was approved because I called my insurance company 3weeks ago and I spoke to someone and they said I was approved so I was excited. So I've been calling my doctors office to see why haven't they contacted me to start my diet or to give me a date but I haven't got any response from they I leave messages everyday but nothing, so any way I called my insurance company bac and they tell me my case is on hold and I'm like what? Someone told me that I was approved but do anyone know what on hold means

  • You might want to seriously consider switching surgeons. Every day you don't get a return call is one day an attentive surgeon's office could have you closer to your surgery.

  • Don't lose hope! Things will fall into place just KEEP CALLING! Dont worry about getting on anyone's nerves. Make those phone calls until this is resolved.

I'm so sorry!! It sounds like the dr may owe them info. Maybe that's why they are not calling you back?? Fingers crossed!!

You may be right about that, thank you

I was thinking the same thing, the insurance company may need additional information from your doctor's office. I would go to the doctor's and speak directly to them.

Good luck.

so frustrating. Hope you hear back from the Doc's office tomorrow.

DO YOU THINK ITS MY PCP OR ITS THE SURGEONS OFFICE?

Is your surgeons office close to where you live? If it is go over there and ask them whats going on. If its not then keep calling them a few times a day. Don't give up!!

It's 3and a half hours away I call about 3 time a day for the last 2 weeks and no one is returning my calls

Has your doctor or surgeon been monitoring you all this time? If its your doctor go see them or call them

It could be either your PCP or surgeon. I needed information from my PCP and ended up having to delay my surgery for a month because of it.

Keep up hope! It'll happen for you.
