  1. Do you like fish? Its so easy to eat and full of protein!
  2. I'm in the same boat. Barely lost anything weeks 3 and 4. I think I need to eat more. Especially protein. Its hard! We will get through it!
  3. Thanks for the info!
  4. ok. Get a piece foil. Spray it with Pam. Put the fish on foil. Oven preheated to 400. Cover the fish in salsa (any kind you like). Fold the foil over the fish creating a tent and seal it well so it can steam. bake for 17 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Its yummy!! Made it yesterday.
  5. Ever think about trying out for masterchef?? That looks amazing!
  6. I just bought my scale yesterday bc of this. Should have returned it!
  7. Thanks!
  8. My doctor told me I can have soda after 6 weeks. There is no proven evidence that it stretches the pouch. I've researched it. The reason they don't want to drink pop is because it makes you crave sweets. I can't wait to have a diet pepsi!
  9. Honestly yes I can tell the difference. For some reason before surgery everytime I started to do something (vacuum, dishes, changing diapers etc) I would have to pee so bad I would run to the bathroom. That doesn't happen anymore!!
  10. I had 47 grams of protein today.
  11. I am definitely not getting enough protein. I need to buy the protein powder bc I can't stand protein shakes anymore. Today I ate 354 calories and burned 383 calories. Shouldn't I be losing weight at that rate?
  12. You look great! Brought tears to my eyes!
  13. My dad used to be morbidly obese and lost the weight without surgery. Just 3 hours after my surgery he says to me "I didn't need surgery to lose weight. What's wrong with you?" Needless to say him and I don't get along. Never really did. I knew I needed the surgery and no one was changing my mind. Do what you know is right for you.
  14. Me the day of surgery and then 5 weeks out. Need to get a new body shot of myself but can't get my 19 month old daughter to take one
  15. Same thing happened to me!!! How awkward it was to do anything with that IV and the monitors!
  16. 5 weeks. I'm down 24 lbs but 21 of them were the result of my 2 weeks of liquids after surgery.
  17. I'm eating all the right things and exercising. My weight is coming off slow! I look like I'm smaller but it's not showing on the scale. Depressing.
  18. I'm the same way. I can eat mostly anything I want. Only sick once and that was bc I didn't chew well enough. I'm 5 weeks after surgery and I can pretty much drink normal sips of liquid. I'm always worried that I stretched my pouch. I guess we are just lucky!
  19. When did u try your first drink? I haven't had a drink in months.
