  2. Its called ruiminating, I think, its often linked with bulimia. Its a common thing that bariatric folks do.

  4. I took a shower this morning, it was a little difficult, I have to step over the tub, and I thought I was going to slip, It was stressful. but the shower itself was nice. I took a walk, had a nap, and a couple of visitors and some juice, and I feel better now.

  6. IT took two weeks for my insurance approval, Then, I got my date the day the surgeon's office got the letter.
  7. I was told forever.
  8. In the recovery room, I remember being in pain, and trying to get the nurse's attention, my mouth was too dry to talk. They finally gave me pain meds and I went back to sleep, I think like an hour later I woke up and they were talking about moving me to my room. I fell back asleep and woke up again and they started moving my IV and stuff to the bed and rolled me out, they hit like three corners on the way, and it hurt like hell.

  10. I'm four days out. today is the first day I'm feeling this drained. So sleeping for a million years is normal?
  11. So, this morning I feel like my entire body is tired. I have very little energy, anytime I sit too long I sleep. Any advice to get some energy?
  12. My friend who stayed with me while I was in the hospital woke me up from a medicated coma and said "Ashley, your tummy is singing me the song of it's people" And then I cried from laughing too hard.
  13. Ask all the questions you need to! There is no such thing as a stupid question when it concerns your life! I'm excited for you!

  15. The two weeks at Christmas should be sufficient. What grade do you teach? What insurance do you have? They may not require the 6 month diet, Mine didn't, I have BC/BS. Do you have a documented history of dieting? Weight watchers, nutrisystem, etc? A lot of times doctors will push for those to be counted. Even then, I waited a year, I was held up with the psych evaluation, and I honestly think that the year helped me understand and prepare for the surgery. Best of luck.

  20. I used milk of magnisia(sp?) It worked in about 3 hours. Best poo of my life.
  21. I tried the grape isopure and I couldnt stomach the aftertaste. It was bery bleh. But I found it was better after adding a squirt of grape mio and watering it down a bit.

  23. I have been on depo for three years and I love it. When you first start it weight gain can happen but its only 10-15 lb but thats about it as side effects go.
  24. Its not hopeless. It depends on you and your commitment to your program. I have nearly 300 to lose and I will not give up.
