Chocolate milk
I found some chocolate milk that is non-fat, 2g sugar, and 9g protein! And it tastes like real chocolate milk! Not like ick! I am super happy, I got it from Kroger, Kroger brand. It comes in 16 oz cartons, and it's 1 dollar. It is awesome for a little treat, that's still within the guidelines of full liquids. I'm not going to have it every day, just when I need that little bit of sweet. Made my day!

Texas ?
Exactly! I haven't had any internal discomfort! Just the incisions. I'm 7 days out. I do get a slight full feeling, but it quickly fades, I don't get hungry, I just get not full. Lol. Its really hard to explain.

We had the same surgery date I think. I'm 6 days out also. I have pain at one incision, and It's not so much pain as tightness now. Just keep taking your meds, Walk, even when uncomfortable, and I actually put an ice pack wrapped in a towel on the incision and it helped a little, Then I put a heating pad, and it really helped loosen up the muscles. Start slowly starting to stretch reach your arms over you head, Try to contract your abdominal muscles when you're laying down.- So confused!

I'm still a little sore in one incision. but I have hope that it will get with the program soon. I haven't had any nausea, which is a godsend. I've been walking twice a day. According to my surgeon I'm having the "dream recovery".- Birth Control Problems!
It's up to you, My surgeon recommends using two forms of BC for the first 18 months after surgery because of the increased fertility rate. It's really dangerous to both mom and baby if you get pregnant in the first 18 months because of body changes and limited nutrition coming in.- I AM STARVING!

My parents were the same way before my surgery. Every morning they would show me another horror story, And I'd show them 10 good stories. Three days before my surgery I put my foot down and told them that this is what I'm doing, they can be supportive or they can keep quiet or leave. It's really frustrating and awful. But ultimatums are sometimes the only way to get results.- April 2013 Post-Op Group
