  1. ProHealth Care has a ONE A DAY chewable vitamin!! I usually swallow it. I don't like chewing vitamins. YUCK... But it has everything GBS patients need in one dose. It's $10 for a 30 day supply.
  2. I take a Bariatric Chewable that you take once a day!! It's from ProCare Health and it's $10 a bottle for 30 pills. I usually just swallow it whole. I'm not much on chewing vitamins. I also take Biotin, Vit C and Calcium. Plus I get an Injection of B-12 monthly.
  3. I don't have any tips for you. But, i know that it's possible to keep the baby. CONGRATS!!!
  4. I understand what you're saying. But, we as adults have to make our own decisions. If someone decides to eat 5 donuts than that is a decision that they have to live with. There are risks to any surgery. And you know as well as I do that not everyone has or will have complications. Everything we do in a life is a chance we all take. Even if surgery wasn't involved. Ulcers can happen even if you don't smoke. No one is ever guarenteed 100% perfection. We all have our vices. I do appreciate your input though.....
  5. Honestly i did start smoking again after surgery. I know bad. But no matter what we do in life there is always a risk to it. I don't condone it. But you're an adult and have to make you own decisions.
  6. I drink regular coffee too. I don't finish a cup, but I do have it. I gave up sodas and I'm not gonna give up coffee to.
  7. I live in Pensacola too. But I had my surgery in Mobile. I've heard good things about Dr. Lord. Good luck!!!
  8. OK, all I did was ask if she was a lawyer. Not because one profession or any type of education has anything to do with physical or verball abuse. My point was if things got bad she might have the means to get out. Not everyone is finacially able to get out of a situation without help from the outside world. NOBODY deserves to be belittled no matter who or what they are.
  9. Are you a lawyer? I'm sorry you're going through that. NOBODY deserves that. Especially from a spouse. Stay srong, you can do this. And if things don't chnage than it;s time for you to get out. It will probably get worse once you lose the weight. Jealousy is a crazy thing. Good Luck hun. I'm sure you'll make the right decision. Only you can decide....
  10. we had surgery the same day. I've lost 15lbs since surgery. It will happen, but it's frustrating I know...
  11. I'm so looking forward to that day..what a wonderful feeling that must have been.
  12. The barium swallow is nasty!! I had to do one prior to surgery. I hope they can figure out what's going on. Good luck!!
  13. I would think liquid is liquid no matter the form. Just a thought...
  14. You look great!! And your weight loss has been awesome!! Keep it up hun...
  15. you certainly won't eat a whole one. I love them too.. I say go for it..
  16. That's awesome!! My husband works in EMS so I understand how feel. Congrats on becoming a flight medic. It requires a lot of hard and most of all dedication. Tami
  17. I just read your profile and see you do live here. That's cool that there is someone else on this board. I see you work in the medical field. I do also. Trying to find a job. Know anyone who might be hiring?
  18. Not me. But do you live in Pensacola? I see Dr. Lord did your surgery.
  19. I didn't have to pay anything to the hospital. I had to pay 442.00 to the surgeon for his fees. But that went towards my Ins. I got my EOB the other day and surgery, hospital, pre-op and anethsia was right at 18,000. A lot less than I have seen as far as surgery.
  20. Ok, I can't stand the taste of the powderd stuff. I use the pre made shake. They are ok, but I need more protein in my diet. What else would be good? TIA
  21. Wow, i only saw the doc at surgery time...
  22. That's great!! Maybe fish would be better since it's not so dry. Just a suggestion....
