You can still do decaf... that's all I will touch now. And I've found several of the yummy flavored k cups on decaf.

just started drinking coffee. we can't have regular coffee?

I only drink decaf.

My surgeon and nutritionist say no caffeine ever.

I drink regular coffee too. I don't finish a cup, but I do have it. I gave up sodas and I'm not gonna give up coffee to.

Can anyone tell me why we can't have coffee or caffeine? I drink about 60oz a day.

Caffeine can cause dehydration and irritate the stomach. That's why my surgeon said no coffee at all the first 5 weeks and now I can have decaf only.

Huh I work outside all summer sweating like a pig, 60oz coffee, 2x28oz protein shakes and 2-4 16oz water bottles no food till dinner.

I was told no caffeine because its a stimulant and will stimulate hunger and its a diuretic.

My dr says its ok to drink reg coffee as long as u doubleup your water intake but if u drink ut in evening def do decaf.

Frank seriously?!?! I've heard of people that never seem to experience hunger again and I hope everyday that I will be one of this people. My surgery was 7/20/12 and I've not felt hunger at all at this point....have to eat by a schedule or else I'd never eat. Lucky you! How much did you lose and hows everything going now?
