And I am down 27 lbs! But my loss has been really strange. I won't lose anything for 5 days then I'll drop 3 lbs overnight... and I can't stop weighting myself everyday. gah.

Good news: I have been cleared for all foods and I was told by my doctor to start with chicken. Bad news: the two times I have tried chicken it came back up... I only tried it twice (on different days) because I thought maybe I didn't chew it up so well the first time. Found out it just doesn't sit well with me at all. I hope it is temporary but we'll see.

Congrats on the loss, my pre op book says to start with drumstick or thigh that they are moister.

swmr - Was the chicken moist? My nutritionist said I could have fat free gravy with it or salsa to make it moist. Chicken is one of those Proteins that can be stringy so it's really important to chew it alot and to make sure it's not overcooked.

Grilled pork doesn't sit right in my pouch yet I made pulled pork in my crockpot and it stayed down with no issues.

That's great!! Maybe fish would be better since it's not so dry. Just a suggestion....

Chicken is a toughy as well as eggs. As everyone else says, keep it moist... chew chew chew and then chew somemore

I can't eat chicken ever again. Or pork. Idk if it will be forever but I'm ok with that.

The chicken I ate was super moist both times I ate it and I chewed like there was no tomorrow the second time. Oh well. I can live without chicken. Turkey works great for me so I guess I can stick with that when I want poultry.

I add fat free or light Italian or balsamic vinaigrette dressing!! LOVE it! U should give that a try maybe! Good luck!
