Well I never, ever take meds do not like them. But in this case I did ask my doctor for xanax. She gave me enough for 30 days and I took two, but just knowing they were there if I needed them was enough. I ended up taking the two the two days prior to surgery. I also kept myself very busy to not obsess over it! Best wishes and it will be here and over with before you know it!

My doctor gave me colace, which I bought the generic brand and I drink one a day and that has helped a bit. I still only go every two days.

I do not know about that only because I am getting 64 to 72 ounces of Fluid a day, unless that is not enough for me?

Well for me I had to do pre-op testing two weeks before which consisted of bloodwork, chest xray and ekg. Plus a pre-op semnar my surgeon makes you go to at the hospital because they are a center of bariatric excellence. Sounds like you have done everything else!

I have it too where my drain was and that part of my tummy is sunken in like a dimple, weird huh?

I was told after three months, as long as you drink an extra glass of Water for each cup of coffee it would be okay. Again every surgeon/nutritionist is different!

Lol, not for me I threw it up every time I got it, but the same happened with the morphine!
