Stuffing Face Pre-OP
It seems that a lot of people do that. I didn't. I wanted a head start on my new life and wanted to go ahead and start making those changes I knew I needed to make..even before I had to start on the pre-op diet. I lost 24 lbs before my surgery...I just figured that was that much less I had to lose! I also know I'll be able to have all my favorite foods again one day in moderation so it's not like you're saying goodbye to them forever. But yeah...seems to be quite normal. I think I am just ABnormal...lol

Can I do a poll?
I THINK I have a 34f. Seems the most common sizes are 32f and 34f. I was told by a girl at the hospital who ran the pre-op informational class that my new tummy can hold 4 oz.

11 days out - stomach doesn't feel restricted
You absolutely CAN damage your very new sleeve which is trying to heal by eating those solid foods! Don't risk it! It's not worth it!

2 days since sleeve
Everything you said sounds perfectly normal. The gas will go away....just keep walking! Lots of people suggest using a heating pad too. I had really bad heartburn the two days after surgery. I stopped drinking crystal light and switched to regular Water for a bit and I didn't lay down flat...I stayed and slept in my husband's recliner for a few nights. And I came home weighing 13 lbs more than I did when I went in! By about day 5 or so it was all gone plus some real pounds too...lol Congrats on getting past the surgery and onto the other side!

Gaining weight
Maybe you have some water retention? I know I retain a bunch of water when it gets close to that time of the month.

Just out of surgery....
Congrats!! Glad to hear it went well and that you're feeling pretty good!

Great job my friend!!! How exciting!

Got my Date! NEXT WEEK!
woohoo!! That's wonderful! I think it's smart of you to start eating more protein now and less carbs....it helps prepare you for what's after surgery. I did....started drinking protein shakes for breakfast and lunch (as compared to nothing for either of those meals) and cutting out the carbs and I got a nice head start on my weight loss too!

40 Pounds DOWN!

Question Regarding Size (Xpost)
I don't think the size of your new sleeve is going to determine whether you have nausea or not. I really think some of us are just more prone to it than others. I've not had one single bout of nausea at all since my surgery. I've never been one with a weak stomach or prone to throwing up or anything like that...I guess I have one of those "cast Iron stomachs". 42f is on the larger size...the most common size from what I've read is 32f-34f.

Um... endowment?
Hey...that little fat pad in the pubic area does have its benefits now...so don't go getting TOO skinny! I have to say that since my husband has started working out and become much more physically active...he's also taking karate now....he's been a lot more....umm...in the mood I guess. No complaints here...I'm always in the mood!

Breasts:
So...if one is going to have a lift...and possibly implants to go along with it...do you get to pick out the size, shape, nipple placement etc? Also...does one retain nipple sensitivity if they've been removed and reattached? So..I want a gallery of boob pics so I can pick out my dream boobs..anyone know of one?

Question about first day home
You can probably get by on your own...but it sure is nice to not have to get up when you're resting comfortably. My hubby's recliner is where I parked my butt...that not laying flat and yet not sitting straight up is how I was most comfortable. I got up to do my walking but other than that..that first day was just rest and he fetched me drinks, and jello, etc.
