  3. YIPPI......So glad you got approved!!!! Congrats and you will be so happy you did this for yourselves!!!Its hard to say if you should do this together or not. Since you have others that can help the 2 of you after surgery... I say go for it together! It will take you both at least a week to feel pretty well back to normal. Those first few days after surgery is hard but doing this together could be so rewarding in the end. you will both go through the food stages at the same time..know how the other is feeling ect... You will be changing your lives together. Love is a wonderful thing!!! Good luck to both of you in whatever you decide!

  8. Tammy your longest insicion is where your port was put in through... I know my port is a few inches away from that incision. Like the others said lay down and feel around you should be able to feel an round hard spot!!! Welcome to LBT and good luck with your band!!!
  9. I haven't had this problem with my port and jeans. My port really seems to be in a good place for me. I'm so short waisted I wondered before surgery if it would ever be in my way or uncomfortable... so far no problems. It is above my waist line but it isn't so close to my ribs that it bothers me. I'm so glad my Dr. tucked it away nicely. Hope as I lose more weight it won't bother me.
