  6. I can eat salad ..but I must eat it slowly!!!! I think I end up eating more of the chicken on it than anything else!!! But I love salad!!!

  8. Wannabelean~ Congrats on getting banded and please think about that right now your band is missing a very important part...A FILL! Until you are properly filled your band isn't woking as well as it could be. All the liquid you are doing is going straight through your band. Also your body is in shock right now ...it is use to you eating and when your not your body freaks out and starts storing whatever it can.Be patient the weight loss will come soon enough! It will take a while so sit down buckle up and enjoy the ride!!! At times the ride could be slow and at times it could be fast but slow and steady wins the race!!!!! Good luck and keep us posted on your progress!!!
  9. Angie Good luck to you with your weight loss journey! Wishing you many happy healthy years to come!!!

  22. I find that when I take a B12 vitamin I can tell a difference in my energy level...it really seems to help. I take the Losenges that melt in your mouth in 30 seconds..so no worry about taking something that will get stuck!! Hope this helps!
  23. Porclindoll~ We all have days like this. I hope tomorrow will be better for you!!! Sending you ((((HUGS)))) You go get some sleep:notagree you will feel better tomorrow!
  24. Wendy go on liquids for a couple days....then on to mushys ect...as you can. If this doesn't help I would get an slight unfill. It could be that you have everything irritated and kinda going back to your basics could help you see exactly what you can tolerate with food! I also am tighter in the AM but watch out for night time. I can eat more than I think I should at night. Protein drinks give me trouble if I drink them to fast and if they are to cold...this could be the same as with your slim fast! Drink it slowly and drink lots of water between meals. I find when I'm better hydrated I don't seem as tight too! Drinking warm liquids does help!
  25. Lorie it took me 4 months to get approved and then I ended up having to have 2 surgery's 1 to get my gallbladder removed due to finding gallstones during my preop tests for my lapband.....so I had to wait 1 month after that surgery to get my lapband surgery done...What an ordeal...but well worth the wait!!! Hang in there you will be in band land soon!!!!
