Hit the Century Mark Today
I was in a bit of a stall after going on a few mini vacations. After working in the yard yesterday in the Texas heat the stall was broken. I managed to lose 7 pounds in 24 hours even with drinking what felt like 4 gallons of water! Surgery was on 4/3/13 My Starting weight was 362 and today I am at 260. So 102 pounds and 30 to go until my for now goal.

2 days post op
It sounds to me that the pain you are having is normal for the first few days. As for the food. I didn't want food at all that early in but we are all different.

Calling all sleevers with desk jobs....
Desk job here, IT to be specific. Surgery on a Wednesday back to work from Home the following Monday for 1 week. I had to go in to the office mid week for a "crisis" and could have stayed the balance of the week but I took advantage of the working from home for a few more days. For most I would think the 2 weeks would be more than enough.

Non believers
I'm not sure what you would call my belief or non belief as some others have said in other posts. I question things mostly probably on both sides of any fence or situation. My parents were brought up in the Catholic Church and both had failed marriages very early in life. The Church excommunicated them for the divorces. Because of this we did not go to church when I was growing up. My mom took me a few times so I could experience it but that was it. I question things like why would they treat my parents that way? Why would I want to be a part of that? Why do some churches and religions need multi-million dollar facilities? Wouldn't a field do? Why did my wife's parents treat her the way they did since the were church going folks? I also don't thank god or ask him why when a situation comes up. I look at it and learn from it on my own. To me I am the reason things happen to me whether good or bad. I am a moral upstanding productive citizen not because I went to church rather because it is just the right thing to do for myself and my family. I just do not need a group on either side to help me figure that out.

do you feel BETTER? HOW?
I know I feel better in many ways. My knees feel better, I have more energy, and overall I feel better about the way I look.

Lets get real here.
Aside from that stuff tasting like crap I would wait till about 4 weeks. Sorry I am a Mac and Cheese snob as it is my favorite food in the world. I make my own different variations and would never touch the box stuff..

Lesson not learned
I have not had Ice Cream since surgery (almost 4 months out) but I do eat Ben And Jerry's frozen Greek yogurt to curb that craving. Maybe give that a try. The good thing is it has protein in it!

Out of work
I took 3 days off including surgery day. Was back to work from home for 1 week and back in the office the following week. I could have gone back mid week the week I worked from home but I wanted to take advantage of not being in the office.
