  1. She IS the reason I did it. I want to be with her as long as I possibly can. She is everything to me!
  2. Today I went to the playground with my kiddo and the playground in our neighborhood has one of those spiral slides. Before today I was never able to even think about going down the slide with her. Today that all changed. She asked me to go with her and I was like eh what the heck lets see what happens. Went down that slide with no issues!!! Made me so happy to do things like this with her!
  3. Sometimes its the little things in life!!
  4. The worst for me was coming out of surgery and the gas pains. Other than that I don't think it was that bad considering what was done to my body.
  5. I eat the heck out of some cheese and only do the real stuff. I would not have been able to make it without being able to eat some cheese if I would have ended up having issues with it.
  6. I'm not really worried about it but I know I will have to do something to fix it at some point.
  7. Oh that is very normal. I felt bloated for weeks after the surgery especially when drinking something.
  8. That was a great read! Thank you for posting this and thank you for the work you do!
  9. I'm an April 3rd too! Congrats on the success you have had! Sorry you had a leak. Good news is you are past that and getting it done!
  10. Actually I think these three words might be your answer. Do they sell eggs in their store???
  11. It goes by quickly! Congrats on the 70 down!
  12. You look great! You don't even look like the same person!!
  13. I fit into a size 38 in shorts and Jeans over the weekend! I don't even remember being able to wear that size. At one time in my life I was in a size 54 or 56. At surgery I was in a 48.
  14. This is true however I would caution that if the scooter looks sketchy then you should probably do a Crocodile Dundee check before proceeding.
  15. You look great! Way to go!
  16. I would have to agree!!
  17. I stopped using shakes at around the 2 month mark. I now get everything from food.
  18. Congrats to you! You look great!
  19. I am sure it can be done but man I would not want to sit in a car for that long after a surgery.
  20. It has not changed my personality as I had a good one when I was fatter. I do have way more energy and do things I would not have 100 pounds ago. For instance I needed a shed at the house and instead of paying someone to put it up for me I decided to do it myself. Worked on it the entire Labor Day weekend 90% by myself. I would have never done this before as I would have lasted a few hours and that's it.
  21. 5 months out as of today and 104 pounds down. Still have 28 to go for my current goal. Before and After
