  1. As others have said you should be fine. I flew from Dallas to Cali just short of 2 weeks post op for work with no issues.
  2. Congrats!! Way to go! You look awesome!
  3. I'm sure his 20 year old girlfriend doesn't mind the grill.
  4. Why would he not tout something that he will get triple money on? Put band in, Take Band out, Sleeve! Come the guy has a life style to keep up with!
  5. You should not be discouraged at all as I believe your loss is really good. As you likely know we all lose differently. For some reason I have never had an issue with dropping weight rapidly but I would never stick with it. Thus the reason for getting the sleeve. A few years before surgery My latest attempt on my own I lost 130 and was at 418 before that loss. I then started gaining again because I started eating whatever I wanted again. I had gained back to where I was pre surgery at 362. So don't worry you are still doing an awesome job!
  6. Congrats! Nice work!
  7. You should hold your head high because you have made it through some things that no one should have to go through. I am sorry for you that you had to endure these things! Many folks would just give up and never do what you have done to face the past! Congrats to you! Clearly a very strong person!
  8. I traveled for work 2 weeks after surgery from Texas to California. You should be fine. The only thing I had trouble with was making sure I got my protein drinks in with having a busy schedule. I was still on full liquids at the time. Also having to go to dinners and such for work was a little difficult watching others eat while I sip on some soup...
  9. Also just checking in. Sleeved April 3rd and down 87 as of this morning.
  10. I am just over 3 months post op and so far no regrets. Sure I wish I could eat more but that really isn't a regret, that would just be the fat guy in me talking...
  11. Straightforward and less talky talky is the way we like it usually. :-)
  12. I want to buy a new bed and have it last longer than 3 years and not have a big sag in it...LOL
  13. I took 3 days off technically. I was sleeved on a Wednesday and then worked from home the following week. I'm in IT so I can do my job from anywhere which helped. I had to go into the office mid week for a major issue and could have worked the rest of the week at the office but decided to take advantage while I could. You should be fine only taking the 1 week off in my opinion!
  14. Wow dude that is awesome! Congrats and keep it going!
  15. I would be willing to bet if you are only getting 300 calories a day you may want to work on getting that number up and your weight loss will start again. Your body has changed and oddly as it may sound you may not be getting enough in at this point. Just my thoughts on it though.
  16. Congrats!! You are doing awesome!
  17. Wow you look awesome! Congrats to you!
  18. I had Dr Nick as well and you will really like him. He was awesome!
  19. Congrats!! Today is my 3 months as well! You look great! Keep up the good work.
  20. I like to get the Chicken Pot Stickers. They are steamed and the chicken inside of them are basically pureed. I love me some pot stickers!!! Plus its an appetizer for most folks but for us sleeved wonders its a meal plus a lunch the next day.
  21. Yep me too! If more goes due to surgery then less shaving I have to do. :-)
  22. At about 7 weeks for me. I was not able to eat but maybe 3 oz but it was oh so good!
  23. I prefer Chobani. I love the blood orange one!
  24. almost 3 months out and 1 without the crust at the end.
  25. I had the same issue on one of mine even had some puss type stuff coming out. I put some antibacterial on it and a band aid for the day and the next day it was fine.
