  1. It is a little tougher recovery (well, I had hernia repair also) but worth it all!
  2. I know it isn't much help towards you not hurting but what you described in both instances, I experienced. I slept in my recliner for the first week and on several pillows for a couple more. The sore throat will get better as you take in more liquids.

  4. I eat the double chicken chopped salad at least once a week. It does last me 3-4 meals so very economical. I love that you can go on their website, enter exactly what you want to eat and it gives all the nutritional value. I printed out my salad so I could keep tract of it on Lose It and also give it to my husband when it is his turn to go pick it up

  11. I take B1 and B12 pill form. I was taking B1 prior for some feet issues.
  12. My food varies because I seem to get bored easily but my greatest treat is a nice green salad with either ham or turkey and low fat cheese loaded with Walden dressing with 0 everything calories, etc). I was sleeved 3/21/13 and am down 26 lbs.

  15. I had band removal, hernia repair and the sleeve all in one surgery and am so thankful because I was gaining weight with a slipped band!
  16. If you have an iPhone or ipad there is a program called "eat slower". It makes a sound when you can take a bite. You set it for whatever length you need to. I used it a lot until I was out about 5 weeks.

  19. It took me about 6 weeks befor I stopped having crashes. I stopped the shakes because I got so very sick of them. I try to get as much protein as I can
  20. I have read several times on VST that people seem to stall at their "stable" weights in life and for me it was true. I am at my "old" lowest band weight and have been for 3 weeks. I just keep plugging away, changing my calorie intake some days and exercising more.
