  11. I wish you a speedy recovery and a safe trip home.
  12. I would suggest you get some meds to help you through this temporary slump. Your body AND brain have been through a lot.
  13. You should be fine by the 10th. The main incision was the most uncomfortable for me and took the longest to heal. I had to make sure nothing even touched it! The good news is it has become just a distant memory
  14. I am older (cough cough) and I went through a revision in march because I was loosing my life again . Each person has to make heir own decision but I would do it again to have my health back and, I have to admit, my figure too!
  15. Amen to ^. I couldn't put it any better. I had a revision so my BMI was low when I was sleeved and I am very happy with one pound a week as I had gained 30 in 6 months
  16. You will do just great. A positive outlook along with the will to make the life adjustments is what it takes to get used to the new way of life.
  17. I had a revision from band to sleeve 3/23 of this year and I feel like it is my chance for a do over! I have lost all the weight that I had gained and it has already slowed but due to a stall and from what I have read, no different from anyone who has had the sleeve. I couldn't be happier
  18. I had my first salad at 6 weeks, chopped up really fine. I have had one at least 3-4 times a week since. It used to be ice cream I craved so this is much better
  19. You are doing great...congradulations!
  20. It is wonderful that we learn to appreciate the little things in life after the sleeve
  21. Praying all goes well!
  22. I had a revision in March due to a slipped band which caused a major sized hernia for starters.....I look at my revision as a second chance on life and wish I had researched the sleeve more before my band.
  23. We are very hard on ourselves.....others don't notice anywhere near as much as we do and most don't notice at all when we are clothed .
  24. You are and will be an inspiration to many! And I agree, you look so much happier also.
