  1. I had my upper GI and it is no surprise I have GERD. I am starting the process for gastric bypass. I had my first of three monthly nutrition sessions today and have a sleep study coming in the mail to complete at home. Looking at first part of March before I get everything gathered and approved (Humana Medicare). Dr. Says there aren't many hoops to jump through. Most testing, etc are her requirements.

    Sliders

Well, when I had the band it was definitely ice cream but since my revision I am. Delighted to say that ice cream makes me very ill . So far, no slider foods for me.

    RE: Getting Closer

I had the band and it caused horrific reflux when it slipped and caused a hernia. In march I had the band removed, hernia repaired and the sleeve all in one surgery and no more reflux since that day!

I started on salad at 5 weeks. It is still my favorite food. If I am out I get the double chicken chopped salad from Subway. It last me three meals!
