  1. I think your post is repeating.
  2. I hear it's the sugar. For some reason the little pouch is unable to stand it. (Shrugs)
  3. If you like your job, keep it! Jobs are hard to come by. Workout or go for a walk on your off time.
  4. Good luck! The wait has been killing me too. I know I will blink and and it will all be done, but in the meantime. Keep us posted!
  5. Welcome to the site. You can find everything here, it's amazing!
  6. I'm so excited for you! You're in my prayers!
  7. LOL, she's awesome.
  8. LOL, Have you seen her 'I Hate Being a Grown up' video? It's the best!
  9. I love to swim too! I just hate shaving and so I didn't go tonight...
  10. This is one of my favorite YouTube videos by Jenna Marbles. Watch if you want a laugh. Warning there is some curse words. How Diets Work...
  11. Q&A with my VSG surgeon Dr. Turnquest. http://youtu.be/FP4OZf_bYUo
  12. I am just a little ahead of you. I am almost done with my third month. Hopefully my insurance will have my application before the month is over so that they can start processing it and I can get a surgery date. I had the three month diet, three visits with a NUT and one visit with a Phyc. I don't smoke and I have finally gotten rid of sodas and caffeine. About to start working on not drinking thirty minutes before or after eating, and lowering my carb and sugar intake. One step at a time. Good luck and keep us posted with your progress.
  13. I have BCBS of TX, PPO. WLS is covered for me as well. Had a three month diet, three NUT visits and a Phyc visit.
  14. The medical people HAVE to tell you the worse case scenarios to cover themselves. It's the same as when you got the band. Nod, sign the paper and don't think further on it. You CAN'T think further into it. It's a risk we are all willing to take to live a better, healthy life. Think about WHY you want and need this and know being freaked out is normal. I am going to be freaking when I get close to my date as well.
  15. Recovery Protein shakes help. Stretching after you're done working out helps too. A freezing cold shower or bath. But mostly you just have to move through it or stay super still. LOL!
  16. I am going to set a timer and keep a log until it's just habit and maybe even then. You get three Protein heavy meals a day and two Snacks. Plan what you're going to eat (even make it before hand and keep it in the fridge so that it's ready!) and when, then stick with the plan, don't deviate! When you are about to graze, stop yourself, put the food back down and remind yourself why you're doing it. Good luck!
  17. You're almost there! YOU CAN DO IT!!
