Losing steam!

So I've been on preop diet for around 2 weeks and my sleeve is scheduled for the 14th. Getting weary though from eating the same thing. Ugh. It's week is gonna be a long one.

Nothing terrible its not a liquid diet. I usually have a shake in the morning and one for lunch and I've been eating 2oz. Tuna with 1oz. Light mayo on a slice of toasted rye with 2 cups steamed broccoli or carrots with a cup of strawberries for desert. If I get real hungry during the day I have a Greek yogurt 0% of course. Maybe I'm just getting anxious and impatient.

Also? You're going to wish you could eat this stuff when you're on post-op liquid diet ;) just look at it that way :) Just trying to spin this in a positive way ;) good luck!!!

Thanks

Sorry, the above link is for an extensive list of shake recipes. maybe changing up the shakes would help.

Also, Soup is good because it has Protein and there is such a good variety out there. My pre op diet consisted of 2 shakes per day and one serving soup. The variety really helped.

I feel your struggle....your almost there.... I had those same feelings just before surgery.... You are doing the best thing possible shrinking your liver before surgery! Best Wishes

When I was on the preop diet, I blended my lunch shake with ice to make a sort of frappuccino - gave it more volume anyway.

Hang in there, you're almost there!!

You're almost there! YOU CAN DO IT!!
