  1. 6 weeks out for me, almost 7 and I feel the same way most of the time, sometimes after eating I feel like I have swallowed a giant stone, other times I feel like it's all going to come back up again, I dont throw up but I feel like I'm going to. Everything repeats on me. I chew everything to total much and it feels like it's stuck. eating is a pain. I'm almost never hungry, but I cant tell when I'm full cos I almost always feel full.

scrambled egg and grilled chicken are getting very old.

I suspect I may be eating a little to fast, but who wants to eat cold or re heated scrambled egg ew..

    le sigh.

  2. thanks for the rant, I am one month out and yesterday I made a mistake, my first ever mistake, I cried so hard last night, I was ashamed of my self. I panicked . I now understand that I am human, it IS possible to make a mistake and it's up to me to check my self or wreck my self... me and nobody else..

my mistake you ask? I smoked a boston butt for my husband, took it off the grill and picked off the fatty crispy skin and ate it... I felt soooooooo sick and soooooooooooo sorry... NEVER AGAIN.

a new day, a new dawn, and I'm feeling gooood :)

  3. good luck with the H Pylori., I had that and had to get mine cleared b4 the insurance would pay for my sleeve.

it actually took me 10 months and 3 sets of treatment and an emergency treatment to clear mine up, but it is not like that for most people I believe. I am allergic to penicillin and had prolly had H Pylori for years, plus we think I may of re infected my self by sharing a fork with my husband lol.

You story of the car park is what made me stop and smile, I always say it will hurt the cars more then it will hurt me lol

almost 40lbs down since my sleeve 3 weeks ago, I hope thats going to change for me some day soon !

  4. Thanks for taking the time to type this out, your story could almost be mine, only it's been 9 days since my sleeve, but everything else, well I'm almost your twin lol

I'm going to try and go back to work on Monday, but my job is pretty light.

I do a few little jobs round the house each day, like make my husband a meal, or wash up, having a shower takes up most of my morning and I count that as a work out lol I'm pretty drained.

I drink about 30oz of water a day and 17oz of chocolate protein if I can manage it all, but it takes me about 7 hours to drink the shake lol

yesterday I had lost 22lbs, but I only stand on the scales every 3 days... I to think people expect me to turn up back at work looking like a fashion model, it's a lot of pressure for a woman struggling to get her bra on and get dressed lol

today I ate some baby jar food 2 tea spoons lol yum!

oops im going on sorry .

  5. hi Chimera,

gosh yes it's a looooong process, so many things I never expected, but here I am now :D

The Atkins part of it is not to bad ( apart from having to pee all the time) arghhh three times in the middle of the night yikes!!!

chicken is my new best friend This week I have two shakes and one meal with no carb.. 6 oz of a lean meat is not a meal grrrrrrrr lol.

I can have a cup of coffee with skim milk only, that I dont drink.

Next week im on straight shakes no food. I dont know how im going to do next week .... my head may explode yikes lol

  6. Hi vicki....

counting down the hours here lol

Thank you for sharing some of your story, every bit helps me, the more I read the me assured I feel. You and I have the same thing going on with water too lol I only drink bottled water ( as I gave up fizzy drinks two years ago, and I also gave up caffeine at the same time) now I sprinkle a little crystal light orange into three small bottles of water a day and try to drink them, I only do two most days but have managed three on a blue moon, so I have no idea how I will manage after surgery, but im guessing if it's not killing or dehydrating me now, then it wont do it then either right? well perhaps lol

head hunger is driving me totally mental, it's almost 24/7 it wont shut up, it was like that quite often b4 the diet but now it's almost like im in panic mode, the world is going to run out of food soon and if I dont eat it all I'll dieeeeeeeeeeee... it's very intense , I hope it will pass soon, I am walking a mile a day now, playing with my new puppy more and still having to work at night atm, so ur right keeping busy helps a little but arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh lol

I like the isopure a lot as there is no bloating with it, but incase my tummy wont agree with me after the op I have some muscle milk light, it's also lactose free ....

I'm hoping the gas wont be too bad after the op, it sounds horrific, and I dont do well on pain killers so I tend to go it alone, I will be sure to shout about it if it's toooooo bad yikes :)

rant on... I sure do :D

  7. I'm new to this too, and I thank you for sharing your post, it feels good to know your not alone, and to be able to ramble on about things that may be on your mind. I am taking the isopure to, and I love it, I take the vanilla, but I like very bland food. Sounds to me like your doing great wtg :)

  8. I live in America and I am from England, I dont know anyone here, so I have nobody to talk to either, and I get on okay, if you believe in what you are doing, and it's whats right for you, have faith in your self.

Having said that, mum's are often a lot of comfort and can be shocking in the things they understand, specially when they see it's something you seriously want/need, think about talking to her, it may help xoxox
